Amazing Service & Fantastic Location
Impeccable service. Staff always going above and beyond to help us out with luggage, and had a nice chat. Beautiful view, and place was very clean- always tidying our room day. Decor slightly outdated but still classy. Pool was stunning- but didn’t get to go- maybe next time!

New years stay
Went over new years and the food and view of fireworks was excellent. On the top floor you can see the whole cities fireworks. Only let down was that the spa had a limited capacity so wasn’t always available at the times I wanted. Great transport connections.

I couldn’t find the 5 stars at all
Our stay was disappointing in several ends. The Corinthia hotel is a pure rip off, for what gives you a 3 star hotel experience what might have been a 5 star hotel some 40 years ago. - The mattress is totally worn and uncomfortable as you sink in - it wasn’t possible to cool the room (we went in winter), as the heating was just warming up the room. Apparently, this also happened to a lot of other rooms as well, as from the outside roughly a third of the rooms had their windows opened - the bathroom did not have any ventilation, nor a window. - the bathroom was pretty much broken, the door in catastrophic state. You wouldn’t find that even in a 2 star hotel - the SPA operates on first come first serve. You cannot make a reservation nor prepay. When we wanted to go, the waitlist was very long. Come on, this is not anywhere close to a 5 star experience - the parking is ridiculously expensive (~27€/night) for a small parking place even outdoors - lifts works bad, often took 5min of waiting time until a lift even arrived On the upside: - food quality was okay, but not extraordinary. Comparable to typical 4 star hotels - the room was mostly clean - staff generally was friendly
