Friendly staff at reception and same person does bar so could be a wait if someone checking in! great location 2 minute walk from metro and bus 100e stop from airport! Also stop 6 city sightseeing bus tour( buy tickets from guys at stop if u buy online u have to go to their main office at stop 8 to get printouts of tickets) Also Lovely restaurant across from ibis, didn't realise ibis don't do tea making facilities in rooms but could get from bar and if u don't have room cleaned get voucher that pays for that cuppa!!

At Ibis for teaching at the Corvinus University
Good comfortable hotel. The only surprising element was that my booking turned out to be 2 single bed and they could not change it to a single double bed. No fun sleeping on a single bed anymore

Useful, functional, value hotel
Its an Ibis! Its like other Ibis-es around the world! Our room was ok - smelled slightly strange on arrival. Was a bit hot as the A/C didn't work that well. But it was clean, and for the most part, quiet at night. We had a great view to the Citadel from our room on level 9. We didn't have the breakfast as their are other options around and we preferred to be up and out in the morning, but you can buy coffee and bring it up to the room. It has a small bar, but it can take a while to get served at it as it is staffed by the receptionist as well. Overall, a good, Ibis stay, and was very good value for what we paid

Great location within a reach to most of places in Budapest. Very simple room with no fridge. We stayed on 4th floor and it was nice a quiet even with the street window. Place was clean. Breakfast was slightly changed every day and all was good and tasty. Whatever extra I asked for was no problem. Probably gonna use same hotel next time when in town.

Good 6.0
Average, Reasonable, Good location.
We were in Budapest for a football match. My friends had already booked this hotel so I followed suit. £125 for two nights, incl breakfast. I had a single room as was alone. About 20 other supporters were staying in the hotel and all had twin rooms. My room was small, but did the job. I arrived at the hotel at 11pm to check-in. Check-in was quick. Only one elevator was working for the whole stay. This proved frustrating as with 9 floors the working elevator was busy. Once it refused to move due to overloading despite just 6 people in the lift, two of those were women. The bed in the room was a single bed. The shower was fine. Only one towel - which wasn’t soft(!). Breakfast was adequate, but certainly well short of a bigger hotel. But it was just €7 to buy if you had t pre-paid. It was ok. No table service just a coffee machine and buffet. The bar was just an extension of the reception desk, but it worked. The reception guy poured you a drink. Staff were friendly. Room 707 is done with Boeing 707 related artwork and door number in Boeing font. Not sure why, but quite a novelty. The location is quite good. 10min walk to shopping in centre or 5 mins to the Danube river and bars. We went on a lunch river cruise too - 15min walk to there. It’s a nice city with good architecture. I’d go back to the city but maybe won’t stay in this hotel. I’d pay a tad more for somewhere else, personally.

could be better
It was very basic, good location but no kettle in the room (this could be hired!!!) also air conditioning didn't work in my room, I told the reception but they just said it did work ?? definitely didn't work, quite a few spiders in the room also, on a plus note the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was odd, frankfurters - vegtables - potatoes ?? so opted for toast and yoghurt
