Had to change rooms
Requesting guests to change rooms during a 4 night stay is not acceptable

Malmaison Belfast
The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were lovely and extremely welcoming. Unfortunately the first room we had was very dark, it was impossible to read due to the lighting and the second night was very noisy as we were right next to the disco for a wedding party. I did feel that as the hotel knew the wedding was happening they should have selected us a room elsewhere. Our room could have been allocated to someone attending the wedding. When I asked when the disco would finish as we had an early start the girl on the desk was very efficient and found us another room. It did take 40 mins to be made up which felt like a long time at 11pm but the new room was much lighter and quieter and we had no other problems for the rest of our stay.

Lovely hotel but lack of sleep
Hotel was beautiful, clean and convenient, one downfall was around 7am noise and creaking floorboards started above our room (sounded like someone was moving furniture or going up and down old stairs) this went on for about 2 hours meaning we missed out on a cosy sleep in and felt pretty tired all day - Room 115.
