Highfield House Hotel
Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I had booked a superior double room which was confirmed on arrival however when checked in I was put in a shabby single. The hotel was fully booked so was unable to move me. Will be chasing a refund. Staff however were very polite but didn't seem to be able to help much as it was a "weekend"

Very friendly staff but room was much too hot (for a warm night) and it was noisy, hence not much sleep. Basin plug wouldn't empty

Nice Budget Hotel
Visiting my son studying at Southampton uni, this Hotel was ideally situated. Although the room was a little dated it had everything I need for a pleasant stay. Being both comfortable and clean, and for the price I paid very good Value. Can't comment on the food as I ate on the nearby high street. Having breakfast at Sainsbury's. But the hotel restaurant looked ok.

Very over priced
Very disappointed considering the price they charge. I understand there is a high demand of rooms in this area, However I would normally pay this amount for a 3 star hotel such as Holiday Inn etc. Everything was tired and very dated. Plus; no evening bar or restaurant (every night!)

Highfield House Hotel
Hotel in need of an update. Stayed on a Saturday night and there was a lot of noise throughout the night as guests arrived back to their rooms along with a loud argument which went on a while. Can't hold the hotel responsible for guests behaviour I know but would not return to hotel as a result.
