Really comfy bed/pillows. Room a little on the smaller side. No free wifi. Advertised an in room fridge but no fridge, just an overpriced minibar. Overall im pleased with the room/service but i think free wifi/bottleeld water in the room should be included in the price.

Room, check in and breakfast was excellent. I have Rheumatoid arthritis and was caused anxiety because 2 of the 3 lifts were out of order and as my room was on the 4th floor the stairs were not an option. I know such incidents happen but I was informed by another Guest that this happens quite a lot. This may mean I would have to consider if I used the hotel again.

Terrible hotel, broken aircon, rude staff
Upon arriving at the hotel, it is clear building work is ongoing (with the massive crane outside and restricted access at the main entrance). Upon entering the room, the first thing we felt was how hot it was, with the thermostat showing 25 degrees. The aircon did not appear to work or reduce the temperature of the room despite being left on and set to 18 degrees. Our only choice was to open the window, which only managed to reduce the room to 22.5 degrees which was still uncomfortable. Being so close to Paddington station, we then had to deal with the loud noise throughout the night and early in the morning. Additionally, the ongoing maintenance could be heard with hammering sounds heard from 10am. Staff were found to be rude and unaccommodating. When we made a complaint, no compensation was given to us and the Hilton Hotel didn't want to know. In the end, hotels.com thought this was unfair and gave us a voucher, which was nice, however it just shows how bad the Hilton really was. Normally, I wouldn't be the one to complain, however when paying close to £220 per night; per room; in a four star hotel, you expect a way higher standard than what was shown.
