Very good
Very good 2 night stay. There were only 2 slight negatives. Upon arrival, cups were not cleaned properly so I cleaned them. The toilet looked like someone may have urinated and not flushed the toilet or it could have been bleach (but couldn’t smell bleach). A flush sorted it! Other than that very nice and fairly quiet. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant, the breakfast was lovely. Definitely book again if we’re down that way again.

Pretty decent
We enjoyed a lovely stay. Had requested a harbour view, which you could only actually see if you stood at an angle, but the trees/fields we could see we're pleasant themselves. Breakfast was pretty decent and use of the pool/steam room/jaccuzi was nice.

Comfortable one night stay in pleasant, spacious room. Surprised there is no lift to the first floor. Looks like the ground floor has been redecorated so maybe the first floor corridors and bedrooms are due to be redecorated too as they are a bit tired. Good breakfast choices and helpful staff.

Lovely short pre Christmas break away
Our room was meant to have a harbour view. Yet we overlooked a road & a field. If you looked round the corner you could see the harbour though. The receptionist (Jess) we think was lovely & friendly & great at her job. Unfortunately some stupid person was smoking in their room and set the fire alarm off at 2am. Not helpful. The swimming pool was lovely & warm.

Nice hotel in lovely location. We have stayed here several times before. Family room is really spacious with lovely, huge beds. Great black out curtains, wardrobe space, fridge with water etc. Refurbished reception. bar area and restaurant looks really nice. Free parking, quick check-in, lovely views, good bar selection. Also pool access is great:) Few small things:- Breakfast was undercooked (sausages, bacon and hash browns especially) - understand you need to get the food out quickly for people but sausages looked worryingly raw. But coffee machine, juices etc all really great. Maybe few more pastries? Room heater really noisy, but got an extra duvet in wardrobe. Not necessarily hotels fault, but loud, drunk guests in room next door shouting in early hours was not fun - if we'd called reception would you have told them to pack it in? Hallways walls looked scuffed already, need to be re-painted:( TBH - would definitely stay again though - would recommend! Change room heater and get other guests to be more considerate.
