Kamala Beach Resort, A Sunprime Resort - Adults Only

Superb hotel. Although we went out of season the hotel still supplies everything needed. At times we would have the pool to ourselves but this didn't stop them from opening the pool bars. Full credit to that. Bars are well stocked and do a good variety of cocktails. The staff were always welcoming and very friendly. We had a pool view room which was very comfortable and large in size. Breakfast each morning was excellent. Great variety of food for all nationalities. Dinner in the evenings at the restaurant by the sea, the food was always good and done great thai food and some western food if people wanted a bit of home comfort. Will definately return to this resort.

Very modern hotel. The two restaurants in the hotel offer a varied choice of food, and in the evening just a short walk away are local restaurants offering menus with every choice of food. Plenty of sunbeds and loungers so no need to get up at the crack of dawn as with four pools to choose from there is room for everyone, even though the hotel was full the way the gardens and pool areas are planned the hotel never seemed crowded. Quiet hotel with very helpful staff and located next to the beach, perfect holiday location.

We stayed at Kamala beach resort twice once in a Deluxe garden view room and again in a grand deluxe suite the suite was gorgeous with bath overlooking the pool, the garden view room a little more basic, but then it was a lot cheaper - so you get what you pay for. The staff are all very polite and helpful, there are 4 pools including 2 swim up pool bars which are great, there are plenty of sunbeads, we never had a problem getting one at any time of the day. Breakfast is very good with a huge variety to choose from. The hotel is right on a beautiful long beach lined with a dozen or so restaurants, a walk over the bridge takes you to a busy road with tourist shops and more bars and restaurants. A chilled out resort ideal for us but if you want lively a trip into Patong is only 500 bht each way. A taxi from the airport costs 800-900 bht each way and is about 40 mins. We took a trip to Singapore and the hotel staff kindly agreed to store our luggage so we could travel to singapore with hand luggage only. We were at the hotel on 13th April which is Thai New Year, this is a great time to come to Thailand the hotel put on a Thai parade which also involves soaking everyone with water pistols - all in good fun and part of Thai New Year traditional celebrations. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent facilities, amenities and access to a wonderful beach. Could the rooms some sprucing up, sure, are they nice, clean and comfortable, yes. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Relatively good place. Nice facilities and lovely pools. Staff are nice. It is ashame the hotel deliberately causes issues for outside taxis or grabs picking up guests from the hotel. A number of grab drivers refused our fares from the lobby due to the hotel making life difficult for them and discouraging outside transport. So you are forced to then use the taxi from the hotel which is of course more expensive or walk to the street. I guess that is common in thailand and other hotels probably do it too but is dissapointing to treat paying guests that way particularly given I had spent a lot at the restaraunt and booking tours through the hotel. Probably would not stay again based on that. outside of that it is a nice hotel and did enjoy the stay. Staff are overall friendly

Excellent position with direct access to swimming beach. Service was fantastic. Grt restsurants in surrounding area.

As a female traveler I always felt extremely safe. Access to the beach was convenient. A peaceful a quiet area without the intensity of patong. Beautiful pools and massage area.

Loved my stay at the resort. Will definitely be back some day. Loved the setting, so close to the wonderful beach. It was quiet and peaceful, just what I was looking for.

One of the best resorts in Phuket. I loved the rooms, facilities, the private beach area.
