The hotel is stunning and the breakfast was a feast. The cooked breakfast was good quality produce and very generous. I wouldn't consider the hotel to be very disabled friendly. I use a mobility scooter, which I didn't take with me, but noticed I would've had some difficulty getting to parts of the hotel. We were also very disappointed that the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were unavailable, which we were only told about an hour before we were due to set off! We were offered use of the facilities at a sister hotel, but that didn't appeal to us as we didn't have our own transport. We had already cancelled another hotel as their spa facilities were temporarily unavailable. I also feel that the charges for the spa treatments were very expensive. We did have a wonderful stay and really enjoyed shopping in Pitlochry and all had a wonderful sleep. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we were allowed to check in earlier than stated. As a hotel it was fantastic, as a spa, I have to say it was disappointing, but I would stay here again

Showing promise
First time staying at Scotlands since 2016. Noticed that the hotel has had some renovation and this appears to be continuing. New reception area is nice and spacious and the staff are all fantastic. The common theme is that the hotel appears to be going through a transformation period. Some of the furniture in the reception area needs updated as was collapsed and this continued into the room. Our room was nice and spacious with a comfortable bed however once again although the room looked to have been decorated, the furniture again needs updated. The hotel Only operates a breakfast service with evening meals no longer being offered and the on site bar no longer open although drinks can be ordered at reception. Breakfast was great with plenty of selection and a recommendation to try out the eggs Benedict. It was nice to stay in a hotel that still does daily room service. The leisure facilities were great but unfortunately the steam room was out of service but did not detract from the experience.

Disappointing
Receptionist was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The room had a large window that looked up a busy hill, vehicles a d pedestrians had clear view into room there should be voils to give some privacy, had to close heavy curtains during most of our stay. The big mirror fell of the wall, luckily we were not beside it at the time. The shower was terrible no power to it at all. The beds were comfy and clean. The spa steam room was not working, we were told that this has been ongoing for a while. Breakfast second day was a disgrace. Waited 20 minutes for someone to take otder, had to go find someone, the man who came to take order said sorry for your wait, his attitude was "tough luck". We waited another 5 minutes still no breafast..we left. Also a child was sick in the dining room when we arrived, was still there when we left. The chairs in the dining room were badly stained, needed a good clean.
