Best hotel for miles with lots options with gym, pool, spa. Rooms dated, but comfy bed, nice bathroom size, close to grocery store. Restaurant has bougy menu which is odd for area. Expected functional and more pub like.

Had a wonderful stay while we did the Winterdance tour. Food was great as was the service. Rooms were comfortable and warm. Grandkids had a great time in the pool. Overall we had a great time. Would not hesitate to go back.

Too bad. Never again
Carpets must have just been done in the Fairway lodge. VERY strong smell of cleanser. Patio door opened, heater on full and bathroom vent on all night to dissipate the smell. Made reservation for dinner. Arrived to be told the reservation is 45 behind. Ordered 3 dinner plates only to be told there is only enough ingredients for 2 then came back again to say there was only enough for 1. WOW. All things wrong. Last time to Pinestone. Unfortunate

Resort in the country
We stayed for 2 nights. Check in/out was efficient. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay fun. They were very accommodating with check out times when one of the boys needed to visit the ER. Surrounding outdoor area was beautiful - great fun to try out winter activities like cross country skiing, or sledding. The rooms were clean but need some updating. The beds were comfortable but the comforters were lumpy. Everything worked well.

Great location!!
Booked the basic room for two nights. It was late check in and told the hotel in advance. They gave us one of the most badly maintained room (#219) of the hotel. Now I know why they charge only $98.00. The room was next to the entrance so every time car passes you get the vibration and noise. Can hear people loading and unloading the car. The heater was so noisy that I had to switch off in few minutes and slept in the cold. The washroom fan was so loud that when it's in use it made very loud noise and disturbed everyone at sleep. The first night was horrible could sleep barely for couple of hours. I had to complain the same next day early in the morning. Knowing my problem they changed our room immediately. The new room was on the pond side which was quiet and comfortable and could spend the second night comfortably. We tried snowshoeing and cross country for the first time but there were no knowledgeable people to guide us. The restaurant and it's staff were friendly with good service. The hotel location and facilities were clean. Staff were on holiday mood so they were relaxed and friendly. I wish the first night could have been better.
