Good hotel and facilities
Stay was nice and enjoyable. There are great sports facilities- although we only stayed for one night so didn't get to do much. All the swimming pools were quite serious and had designated lanes for swimmers. I enjoy swimming but didn't feel like I wanted to do a work out and would have preferred a pool with a more chilled out atmosphere. They also require you to wear a swimming hat which is annoying. Otherwise, we were happy with hotel. Food at breakfast was good- I really liked that they offered a cafe to make you hot drinks. We would stay again- perhaps for a few days next time.

Suites are lovely and comfortable
We went for a two week family vacation to Kfar Maccabiah in August. The suites were spacious (1 bed suite with 2 young children) and comfortable, we specified a view over Tel Aviv rather than to the rear of the hotel. The older hotel part is much more dated than the recently built suites and this review is only on the newer section. Service as always in Israel is a mixed bag, some reception staff were unhelpful but we chose the more helpful ones after the first bad experieces, generally you feel like no one REALLY cares, even though they will make an effort when asked. The rooms are spacious and mainly clean, the lobby is lovely and there is ample space to sit around. The food is excellent throughout the hotel, breakfast is sublime, shabbat meals wonderful, and the Lobby and Champions Restaurant rival the better restaurants worldwide. The country club which has the sports and pool facilities are quite simply dated, the pool is huge but old, the sun loungers are old and many are broken and uncomfortable and because it is members and not guests only, can get noisy and busy. The food in the club is NOT KOSHER too although the food in the hotel is to a good standard of Kashrut (though not Glatt). Hope this helps, overall we would return but the poolside experience was a let down.

Not a good airport hotel
We only went here as it was suppose to be near the airport and hotel.com listed an Airport Shuttle as one of the hotel services. Very sadly the hotel told us to take a taxi at a cost of 70 shekels ($20 with tip) to get there from the train station. It is not near the airport and it cost us 140 shekels ($35) to go to the airport. We were promised a 4 a.m. shuttle and then there was no shuttle. The desk had to call their vender twice to get the not included shuttle to show up. If we had to do it over, we would not stay at this hotel. We had friends who did find another hotel that did have a free hotel shuttle. We would have been better off (over $200 for the room and transportation) just going the night before, even very late, on a flight to Istanbul or another destination.

A good option to staying in Tel Aviv
I would highly recommend this hotel for the business or family traveler. There are also many meeting rooms available for training, seminars and conferences. Not far from a local shopping area with Cafe, Grocery, Bank, Post Office and Green grocer.
