Happy Customer ^_^
CONS: I stayed here from 10th of May until 13th of May, 2019 with my other half. We had a great stay here in Cheshire Hotel, their room and furniture look elegant. So, I couldn't ask for more as we had a good sleep because of their comfortable, stylish bed. The toilet was clean with towels, shampoo, soap, and conditioners. If you need iron, you can ask the reception about it. They are welcome to help their customers, and I can tell they have excellent customer service too. Their location was close in the tube station (Tottenham Court Road) and also to the shopping area. We will come back here again :) PROS: Please! could you check all your rooms if the air conditioning is working correctly. We had a problem with our room temperature as we couldn't drop the temperature below 25 degrees. We need to open the window to get a bit of air, but I don't think it's advisable to leave the window open while we are asleep as we received noise from outside such as sirens or large crowds. I know your hotel located in the city centre, but I think it's still better if you have an air conditioner working for each room as it feels exhausting, especially for the summertime.

Poor 2.0
1. Upon check in , I was informed that breakfast was complimentary which is fine but cereal and bread and butter, when I asked about a cooked breakfast I was told that I could request this on the day , this was not displayed properly when I looked at the hotel on your website 2. I asked if we could have some ice bought up to the room only to be told that you don’t have that facility as there was no bar or kitchen facility 3. The carpet on the straits up to the 5th floor was threadbare and in some places had holes in which I feel is very dangerous as either myself or my partner could have easy caught our footing especially as he was carrying cases 4. The lights on the 3rd floor upwards appeared not to be working and the stairwell was not lit properly at all , another hazard as very dim and dangerous 5. When we arrived at our room the door frame around the outside of the room was filled but expanding foam and no door frame 6. Upon entering the room, the room smelt musty and the room was certainly not completed to the décor that was shown when I viewed the pictures of the hotel 7. The carpet in the room was also threadbare 8. The door frame around the bathroom also had expanding form with no coving , very unprofessional finish , The room felt dirty and I was not prepared to stay there, I went back down to reception and spoke to Imran and told him of my concerns, he did offer me another room, but upon seeing what I saw with all of the above,

3rd Party Booking Punishment!
Very, very small room. We booked well in advance and got a decent rate. However, we were given the room that was right up front on the ground level where everyone enters. We heard the comings and goings the entire week. Felt like we were “punished” for booking on Also, being on the ground floor meant being awakened promptly at 6:30 every morning by the construction crew working on the building across the street. The location was good.

Fair 4.0
The only good thing is the location.
We arrived at the hotel slightly before the room was supposed to be ready, we were due at the theater soon after, so we asked if there was somewhere safe to leave our bags while we were out, we were told to put them in the corner of the reception waiting area, where we were assured they would be completely safe due to the receptionist being present at all times to keep an eye on them. We returned after our show at approx 5.30pm, only to be told that there was a problem with the electrics in the room, so it was still not ready, at this point we had been travelling into London and trapsing the streets for almost nine hours, so really wanted to freshen up before our evening out, we were offered no alternative at this time, just to come back in half an hour or so, we went for a drink & something to eat, we returned back at the hotel approx 7.30pm only to be told the room was unavailable, but they had booked us in at an alternative hotel and a taxi would take us there. As it turned out, the other hotel (The president) was miles better, and when checking it out online, it was actually cheaper than the original booking, so the Cheshire hotel made money on the deal. I will be be looking for some compensation & certainly would not recommend that anyone stay here even if they do fix the electrics. I don't know how it can be classed as a hotel when there are no amenaties ie bar restaurant etc.

A night with friends
Great location for site seeing. Small hotel that serves continental breakfast, Full breakfast at an additional cost. Small hotel that does not have a bar however there is a 24hr cocktail bar within 10 seconds walking distance so this is not a problem. Our room was cosy and the beds very comfortable. Shower is great.
