Make your own waffles was good for breaker. There was also fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, juice, coffee, hot water and tea bags. A decent breakfast. The bed was pretty comfortable, too. I wish there was a bathtub, though. It's hard to bathe a kid in the shower. And I like a good soak after a long day.

We stayed for three days with our one year old and two year old while getting work done on our house. The beautiful large gardens were great for letting the kids let off steam and run around, and were lit up at night which was great. The labyrinth of room corridors were also the kids favorite to explore. Breakfast was vintage but abundant and the two year old loved the waffle making machine. The whole stay was delightful but very vintage! Windows needed a clean from the outside but apart from that our room was immaculate and very comfortable. I’d happily stay there again. We had fun.

Fantastic throw-back hotel settled in the heart of Ventura. It has a fun, family-friendly vibe that reminded me of a 1960s beach movie. Walking distance to the pier, excellent restaurants, shopping, and the beach! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful when I needed them. My room had a great view of the pool and the beach in the background, and was clean and freshly painted.

The staff were wonderful! Very helpful and courteous. We forgot to take our garment bags when checking out. The person cleaning our room immediately brought the items to the front desk. The front desk called us right away to notify us that we left items behind. Truly appreciated! We were still in the area and were able to return to the hotel before heading home. The property itself needs renovation. The room has been refreshed but evidence of wear and tear were present. We attended an event on the property in the Pavilion- beautiful new building however the air conditioning was not working. The event space was way too warm for the event - even with the doors open. This property is located in a wonderful location but it is tired.

It was very average. There was lots of dog pee in the outdoor hallways getting to the room. The main restaurant was closed so they set up a very mediocre breakfast. It was cold at 7 AM when it opened. Has to pay $10 for parking. The view from the room was nice. Won’t race back.
