Fun trip could of been better
The front desk and doorman were so nice very professional. The parking was very expensive across the street 30$ daily and no security in the garage (not owned by Marriott) the room was tiny as was the bathroom for my liking, the bathroom had no vents so the whole room smelled like poop if you needed to poop you smelled it all over because the smell had no escape. Sorry tmi but I thought it’s important to tell y’all. Ok , also no maid service was being done so we had to call for towels, toilet paper eccetera, Also, we had a balcony but we couldn’t open the door. Front desk told us it was a liability I don’t really get it but maybe because we had the room on the pool area could of been it overall too expensive for the room but yes in the center of it all and close to everything downtown. One more thing breakfast on site needs to be a little more assortments, expensive for a biscuit sandwich.

Firm mattress was super uncomfortable
I will start by saying that the hotel is beautiful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. However unless you enjoy an extremely firm mattress do not stay here. Honestly it ruined the experience for both my husband and I. We barely slept and had sore backs the next day. Also I assume due to covid the blankets were very slim, however that was remedied by simply asking for an extra blanket at the front desk.

Poor 2.0
Don’t recommend
There was no valet or conceigeres. The floor was very noisy with people arguing at 1:00 am and slamming doors. Was charged a bunch of different charges for parking and for having my dog and I have a support letter to travel with my dog.

Hotel and staff are very aware and respectful regarding cleanliness...I felt comfortable while on the property. Having to park myself across the street was a bit of a pain...

Would stay again
Clean and good. However the balcony is deceiving. Cannot step out and is a Juliette balcony. And it was cold and beds had no comforters and no blankets in the room. We were very cold as duetocovidI wanted the balcony and window open. But the staff was wonderful and they went the extra step to give us adjoining rooms.

Because of the virus there was no car valet so they charge you $30 per day and you park yourself!! Otherwise everything else is first class

Fair 4.0
Yes this hotel is in a great location, clean, trendy, but there are a lot of hidden fees. I’m from New York City, and I felt like I was getting charged like I was in NYC. The front desk told me it will be $30/day for parking, and later found out it was free street parking. I planned on working from my hotel room in the after noon and found out WiFi was an additional $13/day. “Breakfast to go” in the cafe (water, oatmeal and a latte) came to $20 without tip. I asked to use there “ business center” for a conference call, it was basically a small room that was part of the foyer and had one out of service computer monitor, a printer on one desk. I tried to take the call Friday morning from there and a wedding party showed up to take pictures in the foyer. This was a Thursday night to Friday morning in November, no holidays or bug crowds going on due to COVID. There was a room next to me that was there for some kind of celebration and I could hear them talking through the wall all night. I’m disappointed overall with the Lux Brand renaissance tries to hold to buy treats you like a used car dealership. If I pay $250 to stay in a room for 1 night, I would expect parking & WiFi to be imbedded in the cost. It was not.

The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Due to COVID normal turn down service was not available. The property is convenient. I enjoyed my stay.
