King Charles Inn for a "Royal Stay!!"
The King Charles Inn was excellent and enjoyable. It is well positioned for enjoying the historic homes in the French Quarter, restaurants and the parks. If it's high end shopping, King St is a short walk away.

A good choice.
Located right in the centre of town, everything is at hand. The hotel bar / tester ant closed at 11pm but plenty other good places to eat and drink in the immediate vicinity.

Not worth the money
The King Charles Inn looked really nice online I stayed there for two nights in March 2019 I paid a lot of money for two nights the rooms were not clean the maids left the trash from my room in my room the rooms are very outdated the thermostat did not work well had to call the desk to come to my room to fix it the hallway carpet looks very old and worn down was not worth the price at all this is the third hotel I have stayed in Charleston none so far are worth the crazy prices
