    Handy for Liberty Airport. Decorations, particularly bar/ breakfast room/ reception very dingy. Room ok for one night stay but otherwise a bit uninviting. Breakfast good.

    The location was perfect for our late arrival and early morning flights. The breakfast buffet was also good with a good variety of choices from cereals and yoghurt to hot food and make your own waffles, juice and tea/coffee. The complementary shuttle service to and from Penn station and to and from the airport was great. (You can’t walk to either). These are the main reasons why we chose this hotel. The only gripe we had was that the first room we had really smelt of smoke, even the bedding stank. It was too late and we were too tired on arrival to care but it was unpleasant. We asked for a room change the next morning and our second room was fine. It also didn’t have the noise that the first room had. The staff were very accommodating but I don’t understand how the cleaning staff couldn’t smell the smoke in the first room we had.

    Good value airport hotel

    The hotel common areas were in good condition though my room was a little on the small side and the decor was a little tired. The room had a microwave and fridge. Bathroom was clean and nice toiletries were provided. Bed was reasonably comfortable. The main negative point for me was that sound insulation is pretty poor - I heard noises from nearby rooms and the corridor. Light sleepers will need earplugs. Don't make the mistake I did and believe Google Maps showing you can walk to the nearby Newark Airport Amtrak station! There is no access other than using the airport AirTrain. I had to take the hotel shuttle to the airport and then take the AirTrain from there. Allow at least 30 minutes. A better alternative for Amtrak might be to use Newark Penn station - the hotel has a complimentary shuttle service to Newark Penn station at certain times (drop-offs in the morning and pick-ups in the evening). Breakfast was very good: bacon, sausage, eggs, bread, pastries, cereal, fresh waffles, fruit juices and decent coffee! Fitness centre was pretty basic: a couple of treadmills, an exercise bike, and a cable machine, no free weights. Equipment was in good condition, the room was air-conditioned with towels and water available.

    Great for a one night stay over.

    Great king bed. Bar open late with limited menu, think fried food. Room very comfortable, large room, safe secure, Clean. 10 minute from EWR with free shuttle. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful.I will stay again
