The Westin Dublin
An expensive disappointment
The hotel is perfectly situated and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room was far too hot and the aircon wasn’t working properly although they did solve the issue the next day. I thought nigh on £300 per night was more than enough to include breakfast but no. However we chose to include it & rather wished we hadn’t. Although we were assured it was due to an issue in the kitchen & so we weren’t charged. The smoothie though was the high point of the meal. Breakfast wasn’t hot but was rather stale. All in all we won’t be back

Great stay
Fantastic stay here and the breakfast is brilliant - particularly the pancakes!

Lovely high-end hotel
Very nice hotel. Good location, great rooms, clean and really good service. My only complaint was the walls were a bit thin, and I woke up each morning to some poor old woman arguing with Siri!

The Westin Dublin
Excellent hotel in a perfect location.
Excellent city centre hotel. Easy walking distance to all central attractions on both sides of the river. Room was an excellent size and in immaculate condition with all the amenities that you would expect from a Westin five star hotel. Reception area is lovely to relax in with two roaring fires which add extra charm in the winter. Staff were friendly and courteous. The only issue we had was that if driving to the hotel, like many city centre hotels it can be difficult to find somewhere to stop to drop off luggage etc. There is a small area around the side of the hotel, which is also a taxi area so it means space can be limited. Very close to plenty of good eateries and place to get coffee - try Klaw for seafood! We would highly recommend this hotel.
