My stay at the hotel was very pleasing . All the members of staff was pleasant and helpful including mrs Campbell the manager . On arrival I was given a free upgrade to my accommodation and also a glass of complimentary wine. There was one waiting staff Lorris that really stood out at breakfast she was extremely conscious of her roll and preformed excellently. The only downsides were the internet kept chipping out hence at times it was difficult to watch the television and also the television has very limited channels working finally the rooms could benefit from tea/ coffee making facilities. Also there was no night entertainment but on the whole a very pleasant stay.

This place was strangely wonderful in some ways. 80 bedrooms, all facilities open and well managed by friendly staff, including great pool area and gardens, dining room and bar, but for 2 of our 3 nights there only 2 rooms taken, ours. 4 guests in the whole hotel. The staff outnumbered us by about 4-1. It is a grand, quirky hotel which we enjoyed staying at. The food in the dining room was unfortunately not that great for the price, and the road in the area is still under construction so is bad. It is not easy to go far in the evening so after trying the hotel restaruant maybe eat out during the day and just relax in the evening as we did.
