Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel
Tallest hotel in area with brilliant views
This is a super hotel, about 5 mins walk from Shibuya Crossing, Shibuya Station and a myriad of shops, bars and restaurants. Reception are highly efficient and queues not long, staff are all charming and polite Rooms are impecabbly clean and packed with amenities and have great views. Towels and sheets changed each day and amenities replenished. Free water bottle also. Be sure to go up to top floor bar at sunset -- we could see the Crossing, Mount Fuji, Tokyo Tower and lots more. (and the cocktails great too)

Fab Hotel
Had a fab stay at The Cerulean Tower hotel. Our room was great, we had views of Shibuya and the crossing from our window bath it was fab. Couldn't fault anything, staff were amazing and helpful and we had everything we needed. The handy phone was a great benefit, helping us to find our way around.

Almost perfect but need to improve on experience
First the good stuff - Service was impeccable, from check in, greetings to check out. Rates are not cheap but located 5 mins walk from Shibuya. Room is old style and dated design but functional. Having just came from a newish 4 star hotel in Seoul at half the price, the comparison was inevitable. Probably need a room refurbish soon to maintain the current room rates. Got two rooms, with online request granted - one with Shibuya crossing view and another with Mt Fuji view. Now the bad stuff - wanted to use the hotel's business centre to check in my flight online but was told it will cost me 500+ yen for 15 minutes internet usage and to print out boarding pass, it will cost me another 100+ yen per page. C'mon, I can clearly afford it but refused to use and pay for this service as I though it is part and parcel of hotel guest's experience given the hotel rates was on the higher end. I have never been asked to pay for hotel business centre in other hotels that I stayed in. When my kid wanted to use the hotel gym, the swipe card does not work so unsure whether she has to pay to use this basic facility, in my opinion. Would I return? If the rooms is going to be refurbished, then yes. No complaints about the hotel service by the way.
