    So so experience
I doubt that it was the fault of the motel, but there was an infestation of flies and other flying insects in my room. I think this was a problem in the area due to a wet season or something. There were about 4 flies at first, and I killed two plus another unidentified flying insect, then saw 6 more flies later. I think they were coming in through the vent in the bathroom. I talked to the cleaning person the next morning, and asked her to leave the vent fan on in the bathroom and to spray something in the room to kill the flies. This helped. The second night, I only counted two flies. The room was OK, except I had no body wash for my shower the first morning. They have those wall mounted dispensers and there is no window on the dispenser for the cleaner to see when it needs to be filled again. I also told the cleaner about this, and had enough body wash the second morning. There was a torrential downpour the first night. The motel is built on a hillside, and the water was rushing down the driveway between two buildings during the storm. If my room had been on the bottom floor at the bottom of the hill, I would have been worried. I'm not sure where all that water went once it got to the bottom of the property.

    It was so-so.
Room was not very clean. There was part of a cookie on the floor of my sons room when we checked in and it was still there when we checked out. My grandson bumped the lamp shade in our room and a cloud of dust came out of it. I never once saw anyone vacuuming any rooms the entire time we were there. However, we were asked when we checked in if we even wanted maid service, which I told her we did. Hotel is so-so. Breakfast - eggs had a lot of water in them and everything else was so-so but it was free. Location on the strip is great with easy in and out. If you want a quiet room be sure to ask for a room in one of the back buildings so you have interior access. The front building is exterior access and close to the strip. When I booked two rooms I expected them to be close together. However when I got there we were in two separate buildings and I had to pay an extra $20 upgrade (exchanging a king room for a queen) so that we could have a room close to the grandkids. The pool area is great. A nice shallow end for the smaller kids to play in. At $100 a night I really expected a little bit more, especially with so many hotels in one small area competing for business.

You get what you pay for
We decided to stay here because it was a good $20 a night cheaper than another hotel we previously stayed at. One positive was location...but that was about it. Went to use the pool and hot tub and that room was jam packed. Every table was full and so were the pool/spa. Kids were throwing a football to each other across the pool and hitting other patrons on the process. So we decided to come back in the morning. Pool opens at 8:00 but spa does not. Opens at noon instead. Why? No staff could give me a good reason. Eggs in free breakfast were very watery and coffee was grainy. Rooms had s musty, old smell and there was no hot water the morning after we got there. To top it off, three cop cars showed up the night we got there to investigate a possible theft from a few rooms, at least that's what the people were talking about to the cops. When I did finally use the pool the second morning, there were gobs of hair floating throughout the pool. Gross! On a positive note, the staff were friendly. Next time I'll cough up the extra $20 per night and stay somewhere we know has been great to us in the past.

The room was very average, but very clean. The staff was super nice - everyone from the young man that checked us in to the breakfast room staff were super friendly and helpful. The lady in the gift shop will arrange show tickets for you and is also very nice. The hot tub and pool are nice too, but you have to go outside to get back and forth to your room and it was pretty chilly doing that since our room was on the other side of the next building over. The hotel is set up with outside doors (like a motel) instead of inside corridors, which wasn't a huge deal for us, but might be for others. Breakfast has lots of choices and good food - the staff (3 ladies) were so nice! This is honestly the FIRST time in our travels EVER that we have had a breakfast room staff that was nice, helpful, polite, and cheerful. What a great change from the usual breakfast room staff in most hotels. We had a very enjoyable stay in Branson and would recommend this hotel.

    Conveniently located
The motel was conveniently located right off of Hwy 76 and close to some major attractions, but it was outdated and a little depressing. We only saw the desk staff when we checked in and out, but they were nice. I never saw any other staff, but the room was cleaned every day. The spa tub was nice, but it was SO big that it took 30 minutes to fill it and it was very unwieldy to get in and out of and very uncomfortable once inside it. The shower is also in the tub, and husband did complain about the awkwardness of getting in and out of the "shower." But, overall, it wasn't a total bomb. It was clean, convenient, cheap, and breakfast was available every morning. So I will call it an average or slightly below.
