Another good Embassy Suites stay
Always love staying in Embassy Suites. This was a busy one, and we found the service at breakfast was not as efficient as in others - not enough staff to clear away and felt sorry for single omelette maker. But good location, great shuttle bus and would come back next time.

Poor. Prio stays at this brand have been great.
Very unhappy. I was not told I would be charged twenty dollars per night for parking when I checked in. Nor was I informed that the hotel was under renovation so the operating elevators was diminished. The toilet did not function correctly. Nth shower flooded. The sink had a broken handle. The toilet was fixed quickly and housekeeping was polite. The front desk, especially on the day of check out was rude. She dismissed my question about the parking and told me since I booked through a third party "Expedia" I would need to contact them about my concerns and possible refund. The hotel needed renovations, all do at some point in time, but it was handled poorly. The main ceiling into the common are for breakfast was leaking due to rain. $209 per night plus parking not a value. A respond would be appreciated.

Very disappointing
This hotel is currently under construction and they work 7 days a week. We were unaware of the construction when we booked the room on and were not told about the construction upon check in. There was a sign on the opposite end of the lobby - easy to miss when you go up the elevator to your room. Day one - the crew was jack hammering the bathroom on the floor above our room. Day 2 - the fire alarms kept going off related to the construction. The first night I complained about the noise and the night supervisor was extremely rude to me. She offered no discount or accommodation to move to another room in the hotel. She offered to cancel my reservation with no charge to me so that I could relocate to another hotel. Relocating is not easy to do when there are multiple conventions in town. Every hotel needs to update/renovate but they should not book rooms in the areas where they are under construction!!! I will not be returning despite this hotel's great location near Vanderbilt.

The hotel is undergoing renovations that were to occur between the hours of 10 and 6. The weather was very cold. The lobby area was so cold that it was almost unbearable. The noise at night really sounded like drilling in the early hours of the a.m. Our frig did not work and was not replaced. I was very disappointed as Embassy Suites is usually wonderful. I must say that their bartender was excellent and the valet parking was reliable and fast. However, I do think it was a far too expensive stay for the "as is" hotel.

Nashville was experiencing record cold during our stay, so it's a bit understandable, but the lobby & breakfast area was so cold at times that patrons had to keep on their outerwear. The bar had to keep their door closed from the lobby to hold their heat in. This left patrons wondering if they were open. That being said, service was great & the Embassy Suites team was very helpful, especially with transportation & directions. Our room was also great & I would stay here again.
