Great Value Hotel in Manhattan
Stayed at the Hudson River Hotel as I had a fairly early bus in the morning. It is a couple of blocks from Port Authority, so perfectly located for me. It is close to a subway station and the beautiful highline is nearby too. The room was well sized for New York and the bathroom was also. Enough toiletries for my stay, which were good quality and the bed had plenty of pillows, albeit a little soft, but nonetheless very comfy. Despite being in Downtown and near busy roads, it was pretty quiet too. Staff were friendly.

Found Bedbugs
Found this affordable hotel for a quick work trip to NYC. I booked two rooms, and I found bed bugs in my mattress when I first got to the room. I went down immediately and asked for a full refund, and went up the street to another hotel. I am still waiting to heard back from the hotel on my refund.

New Yorker staying in New York
The location is great but the rooms are small. This is good if you are staying for 1-3 days. It wasn't busy so the noise level was low. I would recommend if you planning on hanging in New York but want some where quiet to sleep it off.
