Big smiles
Lovely hotel, rooms are a little quirky, beds on the wonk! Reception staff and bar/restaurant staff are lovely, a big smile, and very welcoming. Aircon not very effective, but it was probably the hottest day of the year! Warning, if you aren't travelling light, it's a bit of a hike from the NCP round to the hotel - try and park on the lower floors.

Room change
Had a two night stay out room on first night was not good and very cramped opened door and walked straight into bed, carpet was caught up and my husband tripped over it when I tried to straighten it find it very dirty underneath. Told reception next morning and the said they would move us to another room which was absolutely fine. Reception staff were all very pleasant and very helpful.

Mercure, Japanese whiskey and bathroom TV
Lovely room which superseded my recent already good stay at the Mercure Warsaw City Centre. Helpful staff, including bar staff who provided excellent knowledge of drinks and spirits. I was introduced to a rather nice Japanese whiskey. Hotel was within walking distance of all local amenities, shopping and sight seeing including the Clifton Suspension Bridge and SS Great Britain. On the down side I found the hotel noisy at night and early morning mainly through other guests in near by rooms plus early morning cleaning. No hotel parking available and recommended NCP carpark next to the hotel was expensive despite 25% discount. Overall impressed and its the first time I have taken a bath whilst watching bathroom TV, thank you Mercure :)
