Stay for world cup cricket
Very good value for money. Repeat stay...useful to have free parking.

Room in need of refurb, bathroom very disappointing, food in restaurant average at best and too expensive at £5.25 for a slice of bread and £11 for a bowl of nachos with chilli

Alright, shame about the teabags and grabrails
Everything was OK apart from a couple of issues that stuck out like sore thumbs. One was that the distance to our room from reception was a hardship climbing up and down stairs whereas the door adjacent it at the opposite end of the corridor could have taken us into the car park in a few seconds, were it not alarmed. The other issue was that there were not enough teabags or milk sachets for brews given the length of our stay. When we called reception we were asked to collect the extra teabags which obliged me to rush put half dressed posthaste—there were two pensioners in their 80s in our party who would simply not have been able to do this on their own. Which brings me to my last point—there were no grab rails in the bathroom as a result of which my mother was completely unable to safely take a much-needed shower. You really should consider the fact that not all guests are able-bodied.

Great value for money
Check in was nice & easy with a pleasant receptionist. We didn’t use the bar/restaurant, however it did look nice from reception. The beds were a little hard for our liking & the carpets could do with a clean as they were a bit grubby looking.
