Checkin was terrible, twenty minutes, staff walking around doing nothing to help! TV in the room had a bad reception, couldn't watch anything. Not what I expected from a four star hotel... We will not be returning!

Check in- Gruff. Parking would have been £23 but luckily I had seen a review that said the ticket could be franked for a reduced price but I had to ask about this. Bedroom huge, but husband had to climb over me to get out to use the toilet! Bed clean. Black out curtains bril and the room was very quiet. Air con very noisey and had to turn it off, so was very uncomfortable. Bathroom dated and a bit grimey. Check-out ok, very busy didn't have time to ask about our stay. Area fantastic for first direct arena and city centre pubs bars etc.

Stay over
The hotel was great with the only problem of being too hot in the room but the air conditioning too noisy.

Radisson Room Double Booked
Poor start as the hotel had double booked our room. We had Prepaid for the room 3 weeks in advance through We had a long journey and I knew we would be arriving late, so I called the hotel earlier in the day to confirm that they were expecting me, that the room would be ready for us and that we would be arriving late 11pm, The receptionist confirmed that the room was ready and not to worry it would be available for us whenever we arrived. Sadly this was not the case. We were given an alternative room that had a double bed and a chair. We had booked a room with a double bed, a sofa bed and an additional bed. We had also paid extra for a 'cathedral view' as reviews said this was on a quieter side of the hotel. At midnight we had the hotel staff moving 2 beds into the room and getting extra towels etc. Not what we had imagined. The room itself was comfortable but a little dingy and the windows were filthy. I spoke to the night manager, who offered to move us the next day and we could have a choice of the cathedral view rooms. We had to be available between 1pm and I think 4pm the next day though, which was inconvenient and so we chose to stay where we were and have a refund of the price difference. We did receive this, but I had to ask 3 times and was less than I had expected. The reception staff were pleasant, but offered no help with our bags on arrival which was poor. We will be visiting Leeds several times over the next 3 years, but I wouldn't stay here again.
