Short break in Rome
Good hotel quaint with its antique lift.Superior bedroom had everything.Staff very helpful. Not much to do in the evening very quiet .Very close to termini station and also bus stop 3 min walk .All in all nothing to grumble about.

Hotel ranieri was alright! The staff was really nice, but the air conditioning didn’t work and the wifi was really spotty. The rooms are pretty old and the hair dryer was nasty, but it was a great price and really close to the Metro stations. I probably wouldn’t stay here again, but we still enjoyed it!

Great location, basic room, good breakfast
The location can’t be beat! You can walk to everything from here. We booked the basic room and it was that—basic. Plastic/fake wood floors (not even nice plank flooring), sagging bed, nothing like the pictures. I can’t speak to the pricier rooms, but ours was about a 2 star. Breakfast was good—the normal continental pastries plus scrambled eggs and bacon each morning, cold cuts, yoghurt and cereal, coffee/tea. The only fruit was canned fruit cocktail, which was disappointing, but otherwise a good breakfast.

Good but not great.
The area is great. The staff is very friendly especially the front desk. The hotel is old and has it’s charms. The bed and pillows where not comfortable for us.

Solo
Good location. Friendly staff. Quick check in and check out. The only reason I do not give an excellent review is because of the beds. They need to be updated as a solo traveler I always had to encounter two tiny twin beds put together as one.

Raniere Hotel, good and bad
Room was clean and fine. The stairway and railing really needs dusting and paint. Our alcove entry had peeling paint on ceiling and marked up, chipped walls... needs some repairs, made you feel like you were in a condemned building. Dining area was nice and clean. Lounge area again needs some repairs and new paint

Our once in a life trip around the Mediterranean.
Very helpful staff. Clean and adequate for our stay while touring Rome. Location was good for attractions, but out of the way enough to be quiet. Breakfast was second to none. Would recommend to anyone.

Not exactly as described.
On the description its says, that each room has air condition. What a surprise was it for me, to find that nothing is working in this hotel. We spend 25 minute to fix the safe box. The we found out that air conditioning is not working and is technically disconnected / switched off completely for the all hotel. SO NO AIR CONDITIONING, while its already so hot outside. The Twin beds are barely can hold a child. each one is less then 3 feet wide and due to the mattress you will be falling down if you on either side. We got Classic Double Room, which is extremely small.
