Great hotel in a central area. Continental breakfast was very good. Hotel stay helpful and friendly. Only complaint is they the dinning/bar area is incredibly noisy it’s like being in a nightclub with music blaring at full pitch. If you don’t eat there no problem as plenty of places close by to dine at. Overall would stay again happily.

St Paddy’s weekend Boston
Great spot for seeing all the sights, the staff were super friendly and very helpful. We have done a lot of travelling in the last few years and this must be the first hotel without tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Maybe an American thing! Would definitely recommend and if we do come back to Boston we would check this place out.

Excellent except the air conditioning noise.
We would certainly recommend this hotel for everything apart from the fact that the airconditioning in our room, (1902) was very noisy during the night. We turned our unit off but the pipework gurgled and was noisy throughout each and every night. We are fairly light sleepers and had to wear earplugs. Interestingly it never seemed so bad during the day - and other ambient noise distracts anyway - but at night; GRRRR! We had complained once and were moved rooms but couldn't face another change - especially if every room was the same - which we don't know is the case. The views from the city view rooms are great and we were on the top, (19th floor). The rest of the hotel is great - good plentiful continental breakfast and a lovely lounge bar, (where you take your breakfast) - but note that the bar closes after breakfast on Sundays and Mondays which seemed a shame as the drinks and food were good. There is, however a "wine hour" in the lobby for guests every day between 5 and 6 when they serve free wine! The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff in all areas are lovely. The hotel decor is fresh and slightly funky without being over the top. The location is spot on, right next to Boston Common and you can start the Freedom Trail right outside the hotel. The only downside therefore for us was the air conditioning system - but if you take your earplugs and are aware of it then don't let it put you off as you will probably find that the rest of the hotel is worth it.

Lovely hotel and great location
The hotel is about 10 mins walk from South Station (there’s a free silver line 1 transfer from the airport) and it is set in a great location almost opposite Boston common. Check in was friendly and quick and our room was excellent - beautifully decorated and with loads of character, crisp sheets and king sized comfy bed. In fact one of the best rooms I’ve stopped in. It is very central, right at the start of the freedom trail (a most do). All staff were excellent-really welcoming and friendly. Also enjoyed the glass of wine in the afternoon. The only reason for not giving a five star is breakfast was rather a let-down; I think maybe because the restaurant was being refurbished but there was only coffee and croissants (and muffins) in the hallway with little room to sit - guess would have been fine if we knew but was a slight disappointment at the time.

Exceeded visit to Boston, excellent hotel
First time to the wonderful city of Boston. Hotel perfectly located, room very spacious with lovely beds. Spotlessly clean everywhere. We found our shower not particularly amazing, but this is nit pireally. Loved the wine hour where you could have a glass of wine before heading out for evenings. Staff were super helpful ad pleasant. Overall a fantastic stay

Awesome hotel
This hotel has a cool location to stay whilst in Boston, i.e. back bay area for shopping on Boylston, Newbold and the Pru Mall is 30mins walk away across the common, and other historic sites are on your doorstep. The hotel rooms are cool and funky, and seeing as I stayed here 7yrs ago with my wife to be these corner rooms are the ones to aim for, especially if you get higher up to 1805, as this IMHO is the best one. The staff are always friendly, and specific thanks goes out to Court who even though he is still in training mode, sorted out some minor issues as i had landed too early for check in. I would recommend this hotel as its a wonderful little gem in Boston

Stylish and friendly
Fabulous location, wonderfully accommodating staff from the bell-boys, concierge to the reception staff. Room (both floor) was modern, well equipped and stylish if a little small. As it was an internal room (900) with just an internal light-well to provide natural light, there was no outlook or even a view of the blue sky and sunshine. We spent very little time in the room, so it wasn't a key issue, but for the money I could have found a hotel room elsewhere which would have had daylight and a view (even if just a back street!).
