Liked the location . Staff were all lovely and helpful . The breakfast and free wine hour. (Which isnt actually free due to silly added fees that you have no choice but to pay) Didn't like the queing for lifts every morning and the ridiculous fees everyone has to pay at check out for things like printing & gym wether you use these or not. So on top of the £750 + we paid for 4 nights. we then had to pay out another £87 at check out

Great hotel in a central area. Continental breakfast was very good. Hotel stay helpful and friendly. Only complaint is they the dinning/bar area is incredibly noisy it’s like being in a nightclub with music blaring at full pitch. If you don’t eat there no problem as plenty of places close by to dine at. Overall would stay again happily.

Fascilities are good, staff very pleasant..only negative was the maid constantly knocking early to service the room because there is no way to message if it’s not required...also there is a coffee machine provided to the room but only on request.

First of all I must comment on the excellence of all the staff that we came across - all very positive and cextremely helpful. The hotel was modern and clean and perfectly positioned for all the tourist activities we completed during our brief stay. The negative comment that I have is regarding the decor of both the corridors and the bedroom which was very dark and unappealing (I agree, a personal view!) as well as the size of the room. I was expecting a larger room as we had purposely booked a 'Premier Room'. I did query the description of a 'Premier Room' and was assured by the Front Office staff that we had, in fact, correctly been allocated a premier room rather than a standard room. I must highlight once again that the customer service that we received from all the staff was excellent and genuinely seemed very sincere. Well done to all the staff involved in our stay.

      St Paddy’s weekend Boston

Great spot for seeing all the sights, the staff were super friendly and very helpful. We have done a lot of travelling in the last few years and this must be the first hotel without tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Maybe an American thing! Would definitely recommend and if we do come back to Boston we would check this place out.

Beds and pillows were comfy. Shower was powerful. USB sockets by the bed. Free WiFi. Room was spacious. Elevator was rapid. Facilities clean and well maintained. All the basics were spot on as well as staff being pleasant and helpful. The Bar and restaurant were nice. Offering complimentary hot chocolate in the afternoons was a lovely touch. This hotel is central and was also one of the most reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the Kimpton Nine Zero.

Excellent except the air conditioning noise.

We would certainly recommend this hotel for everything apart from the fact that the airconditioning in our room, (1902) was very noisy during the night. We turned our unit off but the pipework gurgled and was noisy throughout each and every night. We are fairly light sleepers and had to wear earplugs. Interestingly it never seemed so bad during the day - and other ambient noise distracts anyway - but at night; GRRRR! We had complained once and were moved rooms but couldn't face another change - especially if every room was the same - which we don't know is the case. The views from the city view rooms are great and we were on the top, (19th floor). The rest of the hotel is great - good plentiful continental breakfast and a lovely lounge bar, (where you take your breakfast) - but note that the bar closes after breakfast on Sundays and Mondays which seemed a shame as the drinks and food were good. There is, however a "wine hour" in the lobby for guests every day between 5 and 6 when they serve free wine! The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff in all areas are lovely. The hotel decor is fresh and slightly funky without being over the top. The location is spot on, right next to Boston Common and you can start the Freedom Trail right outside the hotel. The only downside therefore for us was the air conditioning system - but if you take your earplugs and are aware of it then don't let it put you off as you will probably find that the rest of the hotel is worth it.
