We had a room with view of Grand Place, it was fantastic. The room was very well styled and decorated. Unlimited water refills was much appreciated. The only room for improvement is outside of the room: there was only one small lift, causing a long waiting time and the reception area had not enough airconditioning (28 degrees Celsius outside), making it less comfortable to hang out there; again, this issue was only with the reception area (the room’s temperature was great). Overall, highly recommended!

The location of this hotel is excellent for walking to the ‘must see’ parts of Lille. Our double room had all the expected amenities, although we did look out onto a quadrangle of other rooms and a fire escape. The decor was a mix of contemporary and classic furniture and furnishings. The rooftop bar provides some excellent views of the city. There was lots of choice of items at breakfast.

Grand Hotel Bellevue is a lovely hotel in a great location in Lille! Our double room was spacious and clean and the washroom was great. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooftop patio is wonderful with a terrific view. We enjoyed drinks and snacks up there. Unfortunately, it was only open our first night as it was Easter weekend. We were surprised and disappointed that the hotel would not have been able to keep it open. But at least we had the one experience!
