Arbor City Hotel

Clean, well located for Shoreditch and able to check in early.

Friendly staff, helpful before and during our stay, trying to accommodate additional needs where they could. Bonus was reasonably priced parking (outsourced) available directly behind the hotel. Rooms were surprisingly big for London with comfy bed and soundproofing on windows. Only slight negative was air conditioning didn’t seem to work very well, only working on one setting which was too cold, noisy and blew in my face whilst in bed! So turned it off. Would stay here again.

Ended up in disabled facility room which was odd as it was on the 5th floor. Room was large but had a really small window so was very dark. Air conditioning was ineffective/ faulty and reported after first night but no action taken. Main light at desk not working making everything even darker one plug socket at the desk also not serviceable. £450 room only for 2 nights booked and paid for in advance = poor value given previous comments. Have used the hotel before but won't be back.

Room fine, bar area ok, room on the side for tv /chill area. Breakfast continental, ok pretty standard.

Bed a bit hard. Could clearly hear the noise in the street even when windows closed and on top floor. The local area could be intimidating for some. A derelict site straight opposite and a homeless tent.
