A perfectly placed hotel
Front desk service depended on the individual serving. I had a late night (1:00 am) check-in which was rushed through but also had an early morning check-out (4:00am) which was good. The bathroom in the room was not the cleanest (but I am pretty monk-ish about these things) but the room assistant/s kept the place as tidy as possible and ensured there were always towels and bathroom accessories for my comfort. Bed was always made when I came in. The Keurig coffee machine was also a winner. The hotel is perfectly located downtown - easy to reach practically anywhere - restaurants, shops, sightseeing. I would definitely stay there again. The view from my room was pretty great too.

Great stay in downtown Chicago
Stayed for a week. Room was more than adequate. The 24 hour tea/coffee and free snacks was a bonus along with the cheese and wine at 5pm. Location was perfect and the staff were excellent, in particular, Seth, Pedro and Mila, especially when BA unexpectedly cancelled our flight.

Excellent Location
We only had one issue which was sorted quickly. This hotel has a great location and is well priced. I would stay here again

Fantastic hotel!
Fantastic hotel, very comfortable room and very clean bathroom. I like the attention to detail of this hotel like providing ironing boards and iron, microwave and kettle, even a yoga mat! The location is great too - if you don't mind seeing Trump tower on the other side of the river!! The only slight problem is there are a lot of floors but only two lifts, so going up and down might take a while.

Deplorable customer service
I have stayed at the same hotel and use the chain in London for business and leisure, but due to completely unforeseen circumstances that I had no control over I was unable to get to Chicago to complete the trip. I told Hotels.com a week in advance and they contacted the hotel for me, I was told Hotels.com or the hotel would come back in 48 hours. Four days in advance I had to chase and was informed the hotel would not budge given it was an advanced rate. Having provided a week's notice and being a Gold member on here and at Club Quarters I expected more. Seriously poor customer service - I will be looking into whether the hotel was oversold on the night and my room was used.

Tiny Room
We stayed one night at the Club Quarters before setting off on a Route 66 trip. The hotel is right down town and within walking distance of many of the must see sights of Chicago. Valet parking in the city is expensive, as is self-parking, so if you can manage without a car, do so. The room was tiny, with barely any room for anything except a bed. For a one night stay it was OK, but if we'd been staying any longer it would have been a problem. City centre hotels are expensive and the rooms small, but we stayed in another hotel in Chicago at the end of our trip, in a different area of the city, but for a similar price we got much more room.
