When I checked in my room had another guest in there sleeping when I opened the door. So it was a little scary as an American woman staying in the hotel room by myself. I made sure to triple lock my door in my new room. The bar area gave amazing service and that redeemed the experience some.

The room was beautiful, a bit old style but in a charming way. The check-in at our arrival lasted 50minutes, I wonder if it was because me and my partner were having a backpack and we didn’t look like important business men, but the staff asked us to wait on the couches and decided to prioritize all the other people that arrived after us. We were 50 minutes before the correct time for check in (15h) so we waited. I still believe that it wasn’t so necessary to keep us waiting so much but well. The pub was great, food avoidable (I make better pizza than the frozen one we got) but the atmosphere was nice. The reggaeton music was a bit weird for that kind of place but I guess tastes are tastes. The staff was nice, overall. At our check out we found a very kind person. It’s easier if you go with the car. We had an emergency situation of train delay so we were walking and it’s really super manageable. 10min in the forest and the bus 61 takes you directly at the terminal. They also offer a shuttle.
