Beautiful view of Manhattan and Hudson river. Swimming pool was disappointing - it was small and in need of updating.
After paying nearly £200 per night to stay at this hotel I was hugely disappointed to be blackmailed upon my arrival by the receptionist who asked if I wanted to pay a further $25 per night to stop on a floor above ground level. I declined and that was a huge mistake as my room was opposite the pool and a function area where there was a wedding being conducted. This meant large volumes of people continually outside my door talking all day and most of the night. I complained and was met with an aggressive response along the line of “well you didn’t pay to upgrade”. I’ve used this hotel a number of times over the years but never will I again. I’m still waiting for the email of my folio still from yesterday.
Amazing view of New York skyline plus great location to hop on water taxi or subway to financial district, and fabulous local neighbourhood if you fancy a change from NY
Great property on the Hudson River, we had a very spacious king room with stunning views of NYC
Anyone coming to New York you have to stay here, it’s an amazing hotel with a Breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, with the tube station next door, within 3 mins your in Manhattan. I would recommend to anyone. I was told you have to stay in Time square it’s the place to be, we went there lots and couldn’t move, I even dought unless your hotel had amazing windows you wouldn’t sleep much.
Superb location with easy access to Manhatten and views so amazing I cannot describe adequately. Efficient caribg staff. In a way I do not want to review as I want to keep this Hotel a secret.
Hotel reception were very slow. I was charged twice for my stay. Only realised once I was home. Took 3 phone calls and numerous emails to get a refund. Once refunded, due to the exchange rate is lost around £30. So another lot of messages, calls and emails. Refund sent but still not enough to cover the cost. But decided to leave it. But just received my phone bill. The cost of calls is over £42. So again, I'm reduced to messaging and emailing to try and get this money back. This is all down to the incompetence of the hotel staff. It's been 2 days and 2 messages and no response.
The location is excellent to explore New York. Great access to water taxis and the subway. The hotel was functional but not luxurious.
Fantastic stay, all staff really friendly and helpful. We had a great room, maid service was excellent, bar staff great, we had some trousers laundered and staff covered the costs. Swimming pool tiny but fine for a few laps in the morning. Great location and will definitely stay here again when we visit New York , the view is just amazing, great to go to sleep and wake up to s beautiful vista, Manhattan looked stunning and so easily accessible
This hotel is clean, comfortable, well located and the staff are great. I booked 2 nights with the hotel and then was let down with a booking that I made through Expedia for the following night. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to accommodate us. I would recommend this as a good place to stay when visiting NYC.
