Cant beat the price of this hotel! It amounts to what it is a nice clean hotel room, small bathroom and central area of Botafogo. Definitely would stay agin especially when budget traveling! Really liked the glitter and sparkles table they had for carnaval goers. Breakfast could be better, but was not bad at all! Staff are young and very friendly. You can get anywhere in the south zone within 10-20 mins from here even less. Definitely recommend especially if you think youre not going to be at the hotel a lot! Cute, quaint, fun

This is a nice and affordable property located in a safe area. You'll find great food nearby, and it's close to shopping centers and numerous restaurants. I stayed in a very clean double room and had a very good experience. The hotel doesn’t provide extras like slippers, which I expected and brought my own, but I was surprised that only bath towels were provided with no hand towels. There is no room safe, and the only bin is in the bathroom, it would have been helpful to have one in the room as well. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and some spoke English, which made things much easier. The location is convenient, busy but safe and it was easy to get an Uber to pick you up or drop you off right outside the hotel. The room had a fridge, which was empty, making it handy to stock up from the nearby supermarket. The price of the room was also very reasonable for Rio, making this a practical and comfortable base for exploring the city. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe staying there.

First room handed to us was on the 7th floor; mold smell was away too strong we had to ask to change rooms. Staff was nice and found us another room on the 5th floor… Second room was “all right”… I mean, we were only there for a night, so I guess it’s ok. But to be honest, over $150/night we expected to have at least a bottle of water in the room… painting around the room is spotty, bad lighting, furniture was jacked up, mattress was as thin as it can be, no face or hand towels… Location is good and you have easy access to anything you might need walk distance… but the hotel itself sucks. Their price rely solo on their location. We would not recommend or go back to it.
