High on the hill in Glasgow
We were nicely surprised at this accommodation. Beautiful house with many rooms. We were in a room at the very top of the house which meant lots of stairs. Once we were up the view was wonderful and we really liked our room. It was big enough for the two of us and was warm and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff where very helpful and courteous and the house is situated in a very good place which allowed us to access the city. Good choice.

Pleasant stay
Based on the reviews on here I was close to not booking a room in this house. But, due to the price I figured it would be silly to pay more for something a little better since my plan was to be out exploring most of the time anyway. I was genuinely positively surprised when I checked in. Sure, my room could have used with some new paint etc. and I did have to wait a little while for the water to get hot, but I feel like people forget it's a 2.5 star guest house. My room was spacious, it had all I needed, and breakfast was actually quite alright. Both warm food and a variety of bread, cereal and fruits. It was a bit annoying having to leave your key at reception everytime you went out, but since it was open 24/7 this wasn't much of an issue. Friendly staff, close enough to the city centre and I did not have any noise problems at all. Slept like a baby both nights. Will definitely consider again if I ever go back. Good value for money.
