    Good location

    We stayed in Tower 2. Location and view were amazing. The room needed updating, carpets and furniture were very dated and tired. This hotel could be amazing if they spent some money on it.

    Basic room but clean and comfortable bed

    Hotel is an old building so imperfections are expected. We took the train as the website said they didn’t have their own carpark. The room was nice, we were disappointed that it didn’t have a fridge, a basic requirement in our opinion. Bathroom is very small, I could barely fit my shoulders between the walls by the sink but it’s decorated ok. Very comfortable bed and room was very clean, the door closers unfortunately need adjusting on many of the rooms as the doors slam when closed, enough to wake people up. One thing I didn’t like was the late service at the bar, one staff member was trying to look after the reception and leaving the bar unattended so we kept going back to reception to try and get the staffs attention. We were told that room service can bring us drinks throughout the night but when asked what time the actual bar closes we couldn’t get a straight answer. It seemed as if he wanted us to leave the bar which was disappointing. To finish on a positive note, the health club was excellent, sauna, steam room basic gym and a lovely pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

    Perfect mini break

    I booked the Queens hotel as a fun break for my daughter's 16th birthday. We had a double room with sea view (110) & twin room with sea view (111). The twin was slightly larger. Both had brilliant views & were prefect short walk to the pier, Sea Life, restaurants & of course the beach. We got a taxi to & from the train station. We briefly used the pool & steam room. The pool is small & rather limited while they have to divide it into lanes due to covid. Each booking / group has one lane. But it was still worth a dip. All the staff were extremely helpful & courteous which makes a huge difference. We would definitely stay again. I think most Brighton hotels that are older style may seem a bit run down but nothing effected our experience. The bed was really comfortable & shower was good.

    The hotel staff were excellent and provided very friendly and efficient service. The rooms could benefit from decorating and updating but were clean and tidy (apart from the pile of cigarette butts someone had kindly left on the windowsill and the lingering smell of cigarette smoke) and were well presented. The hotel is perfectly located for visiting brighton saving the need for taxis or buses. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and would defintely come back again

    Great location

    Travelled to Brighton for a short getaway break and i highly recommend staying at the Queens Hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location. Beautiful and clean bedroom with sea view. I would definitely book to stay here again! Lovely environment.

    Disappointing

    The room smelt damp and tired but was comfortable. The breakfast cereal choice was very limited, the full English was very small as was the plates they used. The draught beer was not working so had to use another hotel bar. The worse thing about going the Brighton is the extortionate parking charges. The charge for two nights stay in the lanes car park was £58.00. I brought this up with the hotel staff and they gave me a voucher the took it down to £44.00, still far to much and I would not go back to Brighton because of this rip off charge.
