Fair 4.0
Although our very expensive room was spacious and had a great sea view, there were many disappointing aspects which you would not expect when paying that amount of money. The room had a smell of damp, the bathroom tap was broken and some of the furnishings were dirty. Unlike other hotels, there was no bottled water or snacks, no glasses (just cheap plastic cups), no bedside switches for room lights.

The hotel was comfortable, although my room was noisy from people passing on the street below. Bed as a bit hard. Overall my stay was OK.

Very clean and well equipped in a great location.
Very clean and well equipped apartment in a prime location. Being so central, it was inevitably very noisy and sleep was impossible until the very early hours. A great choice if you want a quick stopover to take in the sights and nightlife of Brighton. Wonderful service from reception. Unfortunately there was an overpowering smell of weed which was not helped by opening windows or spraying air freshener.

Night away
Excellent room and service. Only thing that let it down was the lack of sound proofing, as it is very near a club. And the lack of Vegan and GF options in the restaurant. The only non dairy milk was Soy and considering this is Brighton I would have expected better.

Overall a good experience
Stayed here for one night with my daughter as we were attending an open day at Brighton Film School the following day, which was only a few minutes walk away. Even though I googled “hotel with a car park” it doesn’t have one of its own, but there is one nearby which you can use. We couldn’t, as the height restriction of 1.8m meant my wheelchair accessible van wouldn’t fit! However, the member of staff on duty was very helpful and advised me of alternative parking which was a few minutes walk away. The room was clean and comfortable; we weren’t there in time for dinner but the self service breakfast was good, and we could sit looking out over the promenade to the sea. The pier was very close, as was the town itself. All in all, a good choice for us.
