Grounds are beautifully maintained. Food in buffet was good not great. Snack bar food awesome. Staff was generally courteous but no one in particular knocked my socks off. Our room appeared to be fairly neglected as far as maintenance is concerned. The following did not operate properly or at all: safe, locking door latch, bedroom door wouldn't close, bathroom trashcan foot pedal broken. There's more but I lost my list. As far as room cleanliness goes, was mediocre. Long black hairs in bathroom upon arrival. Bed sheets appeared to have been washed but had old stains. Bath towels like sand paper and one of them was badly frayed, like literally unraveling. Also, no wash cloths in room, had to call for them. Room literature and tv remote holders had old food smeared on them. Gross. How these issues were not noticed by a single staff member is beyond me. I didn't bother to inform management of these issues. While not serious, as they piled up, it became apparent that attention to detail was not their strong suit. Plus, these same issues were reported in other guest reviews just weeks prior, so they are clearly aware. Lastly, I'm pretty sure housekeeping swiped my travel size visine. I unfailingly keep it next to my toothbrush & the ONE day out of four that we request housekeeping service it disappears. And no, I didn't misplace it. If you arrive with the expectation of a 2.5-3 star resort, you'll be fine. Anything higher and you'll leave 4 days early like we did.

Family stay during renos
While having our kitchen remodeled, our family stayed here. I had called the morning of to see if they could allow for an early check-in. They were very accommodating and allowed us to come 3 hours early, even though I booked through Expedia. I'm very impressed! The cleanliness is welcoming as soon as you walk into the lobby. Memo checked us in quickly and was great. When we got up to our floor, there was a maid standing there who greeted us then asked us to be careful as they just shampooed the carpets and they were still damp. Our room was nice and clean. Bathroom oddly shaped but it's functional. Equipped with a microwave & refrigerator. In a world of Keurigs & Ninjas, the coffee maker was a complete let down. The breakfast is the best I've ever seen from a non-all-inclusive hotel. Donuts, muffins, bagels, toast, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, buscuits, gravy, sausage, coffee, tea, milk, juices, coke machine, etc. The KickBack evenings is another reason why we'll be back. Every night there's a whole free food bar. Nachos, salad, pasta, tacos, chicken strips, hot dogs, baked potatoes, etc. Seems to change a little every night. The other amazing thing is that when you check in, each adult receives a drink card. That's 3 free alcoholic drinks per night during 5:30-7pm. Yeah! The maids are so sweet & capable! Kudos to Daisy & Maria! Coffee & tea & coke machine open all day long. Just help yourself. Indoor pool is huge and we used it at least twice daily. Hot tub is nice & ho

Not our kind of action
We’ve staying here over many years, more than once per year and are considering crossing this off our favorite hotel list. It has become a very “large family” venue type of hotel. People bring large groups of relatives and fill the lounge area and the pool to a body to body capacity. I understand this as they offer a happy hour and breakfast. I’ve even seen bus loads arrive. Last year we thought it was just a “busy” weekend but we’ve been there during the week, weekend, winter, fall and summer and its always feeling like the “county fair” has arrived. Pool water is always on the floors and elevators, dogs, crowded lounge. Just not my kind of thing. I will compliment them for the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds but this time ended up with a small room (thought it was all suites) and noice coming all night from the traffic on I-25. We’ve just never had that experience before and we’re a frequent member. At check in, I noticed they were experiencing a very full happy hour lounge (again) with lots of kids and parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents...the whole gang. So I think this is their new business profile and it must work because the lounge (breakfast etc. area) was redecorated and looked great. We want to relax after our drive but I think the town comes out to the Drury now and uses it for a “staycation”.

Poor 2.0
Broken pool, run down hotel, bad breakfast - SKIP
We booked this hotel for a one-night stay as we were driving through Albuquerque. I always book a hotel with a pool so after a long day of driving my kids can swim and get their energy out, and I can enjoy the hot tub. When we checked in they told us the pool was closed for the night. I was really disappointed, but decided we would just get a good night's sleep for the next day's drive. Later I heard the front desk rebooking people at a nearby hotel with a pool - this wasn't even offered to us even though I told them I was disappointed that the pool was closed. I guess I should have made a fuss and complained more at check-in. Also the hotel and room were old and not very well updated. Just run down and didn't feel very clean. The beds were not really that comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was a crowded mess. Nowhere to sit, no clean tables and the food wasn't that good. All in all we were EXTREMELY disappointed that we booked this hotel and we will NOT book a Drury Inn again, but especially this one.

Poor 2.0
Very unprofessional. We will not be back here
The front desk was very disorganized. And extremely unprofessional . I arrived at 4 p.m. check in is at 3 I was told my room was not clean and was not ready, after asking me to wait in the parking lot until my room was ready I gathered my things and waited at the desk 35 minutes later I finally got to check into my room. Supposedly the hotel was booked to maximum and instead of getting the deluxe room that I had booked I got a standard room without any sort of discount . there was hair in the shower the bed look like it had been sat on and my socks that were white when I arrived were black when I left. When I let them know at the front desk about the hair they told me there was nothing they could do they were already at capacity and I could not switch rooms.
