As a frequent visitor to this hotel & more of my staff also use this hotel I am very disappointed with the status of the hotel I understand that we are in the covid situation but lockdown ceased a few weeks ago & the hotel is still understaffed the bar for example was still not open no restaurant again was not open its also a time for the towels to be changed they are rough as a bears a**e time to invest in staff & towels this is not good enough how do you expect to get back to normal with attitudes like this open properly I have already moved my business to another locally hotel with the bar is open

bad management
No hot water for a shower I did mention this to the reception & was told that some one would attend to this when I came back to the hotel I was told this had been sorted it wasn't the little containers of milk in the room for tea making were sour i suspect that they had been there since lockdown started

Very good 8.0
This was a trip to London with my older mother. The rooms were clean but 'tired'. Chipped tiles in the bathroom, grout missing in places, paintwork discoloured and only one or two sachets of tea or coffee, which was not restocked during the three days

Stayed here before, its a great hotel. A few min walk from a bus stop.#94 will take you to oxford st.#70 to natural history museum. Queensway tube station 2 mins walk.shops, restaurants, pubs of bayswater few mins walk.my room was kind of small for a double room, the shower tiny so if you are a big guy like me its hard to even turn around. Bed very comfy! No air con so had to open window.wasnt a prob as its winter.summer might be different although there was a fan. Got locked out as key card stopped working.a few others exp same prob. An excellent base whether business or leisure.
I have stayed at Central park Hotel several times in the past few years and it has become a favourite home from home. I look forward to my London visits and the location of the hotel is convenient and offers a good place to relax in after work or perhaps a good starting place to explore what London's West End has to offer ! An excellent all-round facility.

Nice hotel, but basement rooms lack ventilation
This is a nice hotel with some rooms in the basement. Possibly a car park previously. I have no issue with the fact that there are no windows in these rooms. The condition of the room and beds was really great. My main problem is that the room was hot and the aircon ventilation system was just too weak to bring the temperature down. So hence a very disturbed night. If the hotel can sort this issue out, which is really important, I would give the place 5 stars

Room was fairly cramped with a very small bathroom. Walls very thin- we could hear the conversations next door.

Eventually OK
From the outset this place doesn't help itself. We needed a place in Central London with parking which this place advertised albeit self park. So when I drove up and saw a P sign down a small turn I naturally thought it was here. There were signs saying private but a big P over what appeared to be an underground parking area. I went down the narrow slope to be confronted with a closed roller shutter! I left the car here to try and find out how to get in so walked back up slope, went to hotel to be told you have to park at the Thistle hotel around the corner! So got in to hotel, looked good went to room to find I nice big bed rammed into a corner with access from only one side, not good for a couple! Also a nice little TV on a wall facing a narrow passage away from the bed! Complained got given a slightly better room proving we didn't want the curtains to block out light! Oddly enough would probably book it again as the location, just across the Bayswater Road from Hyde Park, was fantastic.
