An excellent base whether business or leisure.
I have stayed at Central park Hotel several times in the past few years and it has become a favourite home from home. I look forward to my London visits and the location of the hotel is convenient and offers a good place to relax in after work or perhaps a good starting place to explore what London's West End has to offer ! An excellent all-round facility.

Nice hotel, but basement rooms lack ventilation
This is a nice hotel with some rooms in the basement. Possibly a car park previously. I have no issue with the fact that there are no windows in these rooms. The condition of the room and beds was really great. My main problem is that the room was hot and the aircon ventilation system was just too weak to bring the temperature down. So hence a very disturbed night. If the hotel can sort this issue out, which is really important, I would give the place 5 stars

Room was fairly cramped with a very small bathroom. Walls very thin- we could hear the conversations next door.

Eventually OK
From the outset this place doesn't help itself. We needed a place in Central London with parking which this place advertised albeit self park. So when I drove up and saw a P sign down a small turn I naturally thought it was here. There were signs saying private but a big P over what appeared to be an underground parking area. I went down the narrow slope to be confronted with a closed roller shutter! I left the car here to try and find out how to get in so walked back up slope, went to hotel to be told you have to park at the Thistle hotel around the corner! So got in to hotel, looked good went to room to find I nice big bed rammed into a corner with access from only one side, not good for a couple! Also a nice little TV on a wall facing a narrow passage away from the bed! Complained got given a slightly better room proving we didn't want the curtains to block out light! Oddly enough would probably book it again as the location, just across the Bayswater Road from Hyde Park, was fantastic.

Disappointed rooms, dirty rooms,no heating.staff😥
The room floor was very dirty from the day we arrived, hair dryer broken, no heating in the room one day no elevator and no hot water, the staff🤔 no smile I think you need to pay them to smile.. Only a guy was smiling. Every time I go to London I was staying there but Tha was the last time. 0

Very good 8.0
Comfortable, a little dated
Great price, receptionist was very miserable, she seemed very sad, unwelcoming and quite aggressive. Problem with heating was sorted quickly, the heating was still very inefficient and no extra blankets! The room is basic, comfortable and clean. Good for a short stay, but I wouldn't want to stay longer that a couple of days.

Excellent stay in a great location
Decent size room with fridge and large window. Comfy bed. Very clean throughout. Request for 2 rooms next door to one another, for other family members was granted. Very friendly staff at reception. We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment. It’s in a great location and handy for the tube. We were next to the lift shafts so a bit of a nuisance at times. The only downside was the towels. They were very thin and of poor quality and the bath towels only just met around my body ( am of average size!) so would be a problem for larger sized hotel guests. No one will be enticed to steal the bath towels here! Would recommend this hotel. Good value for money, it’s close to Hyde Park and we will definitely be staying here again!
