Best Western Plus La Demeure

We loved this hotel, highly recommend. It had the feel of a boutique hotel and the junior suite was perfect for an adult and two teenagers, large rooms and the sofa bed in the living area allowed my son to have space to himself. The hotel was very quiet, no noise from other rooms at all, comfortable beds and good air conditioning – perfect! Very helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again when in Paris.

The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Although the room is small, it was very stylishly decorated and modern! Cute French doors overlooking the street when you wake up! Originally booked this property as it said it overlooks the Latin quarter but it’s about a 25 minute walk to the main area of the Latin quarter as the hotel is technically in 13th Arrondissement. We loved the hotel but weren’t a fan of Paris so we wouldn’t return to the city personally. But no complaints about the hotel at all!

The room was lovely however when we first arrived, there was a bag with cigarettes and ashes outside our door, there was no bag in the small bin in the bathroom and there were only two towels when we clearly stated we are 2 adults and 2 kids, so it seems as if the cleaner didn’t do her job. Also, I don’t think the floor was recently cleaned as my baby was crawling and you could see the filth and dirt on his clothes.

2 nights business stay

This small hotel was good value for money, with the staff being very professional and kind at the same time. The room was pleasant, small, ok for one person, but not spacious enough in case I would be accompanied by second person. Nice decoration & original, good barhroom, tv, but out of 50 channels only English language was CNN. Didn't try breakfast. The building is old, but with nice touches of modern design inside. I would recommend it.

Nice hotel but useless lift!

Room very clean and comfortable and staff very helpful. Great and unexpected view of the Eiffel Tower. Ideal location for our purposes. Only problem was the lift broke down, meaning that my elderly parents who have mobility problems, had to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs to get to and from their rooms. I also felt very sorry for the lady on breakfast duty as she had to deal with loads of guests on her own and was run off her feet.

Very compact but clean

The hotel was pleasant however, having based my choice on booking this hotel on the reviews and pictures online, I was disappointed when I arrived. I know that naturally hotels would be small in Paris but it was literally a boxed room and a little bathroom (LITERALLY). I booked into the standard double room but even still it was quite tight. You kind of have to walk on your side as you walk around the bed. I think booking a junior suite would have been a much better option (had I known) but there were no availabilities when we arrived and wanted upgrade. The online pictures are very professionally taken making is quite deceiving. The room and hotel is very clean and cleaned everyday. The cleanliness is second to none and the hotel seems to have been recently refurbished because everything is new. You don’t hear any noises from any rooms and the walls are soundproof. The hotel is situated in a very good area with a nice view of Paris from the bedroom window. The train station is about a 3 minutes walk in either direction with very good connections to all of Paris. Local supermarkets in either direction and local cafes. I can’t review the breakfast on offer as we chose to go to the local cafes and sample out the food instead. Reception was so helpful and very kind, especially Mateusz. He knew a lot of information on tourist attractions and was very helpful on providing us with bookings when we needed. He went above and beyond whenever we asked for help.

Great place compared to other Paris hotels. Recomm

The hotel was near a metro. It has restaurants and cafes nearby and was 2 seconds from a supermarket great for water for the room and snacks. The internet in the room was amazing, enough to stream Netflix which I've never had in a hotel before. Clean and cool looking rooms. Good bathroom facilities even though they were small. Big windows that opened right up which would be amazing in summer. Awesome view straight to the Eiffel tower. It's the best hotel room I've had in Paris as it actually felt like a hotel and not a dodgy overpriced room in someone's house. Great place and I'll stay here again when I go back.
