Lovely quiet and smaller hotel which was very clean and welcoming. Everywhere practically for me anyways was within walking distance. CN tower, aquarium etc 10 mins walk. Yonge/Dundas square/Union station 15-20mins depending on abilities. Every member of staff was friendly and spoke to me like i was their guest not just a number. I find this lacking in larger hotels and very impersonal as there is so many people you feel lost or ignored. Room was immaculately cleaned and was given complimentary water on request. I would have preferred a firmer pillow for sleeping but that's a minor issue i am sure could have been addressed. I chose a classic room which was really nice. There was not much of a view as the hotel is close to other buildings and there is construction work going on adjacent to the hotel but there was very little noise and who really wants to sit in a hotel and look out the window when there is loads to go see and do. Breakfast was a continental style with some added treats and was tasty and more than enough to keep me fuelled until lunch or beyond when out exploring. Toronto is a fabulous city to visit and this hotel was no exception and i will be staying here again when i return. Thanks very much Le Germain see you again soon. Adrian.
Room was huge - around 3-4 times the size of what I got in New York beforehand. Location is good - 20 minutes on foot to Union Station, where the UP runs directly to and from Pearson airport. The only criticism is that the breakfast offering is a little weak...but that at least helps stop me frm over-eating!
Well located downtown. Friendly and helpful staff. Large, well appointed room with very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom, but very dark and gloomy and looking out onto a building site. It was well glazed so noise wasn't a problem. Continental breakfast was fine but not wonderful. The coffee was very good. Would stay there again.
Amazing staying in this Hotel. I will come back of course.
From the moment you walk through the door you are made very welcome. The staff in all areas were great - very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent - very comfortable and stylish.
Excellent location, right in the entertainment district with lots of restaurants around, less than a minute away from one of the Sightseeing bus stops, close to the CN tower. Staff was really nice and friendly. Special mention to Ariel for his attention while we were waiting for a coach tour to pick us up from the hotel. The breakfast had a good variety of items, the room was quiet and clean, bathroom with bath and great shower. A great stay. I would highly recommend
Gorgeous design hotel. Super comfy bed and sheets. Staff were lovely and attentive. The best bit though is the location. Right around the corner from the baseball stadium and the CN tower as well as the water front. We walked everywhere.
Despite my stay happening during a practical COVID shutdown, the place was very clean, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. I have always enjoyed my stays at LeGermain.
The room was lovely. Lots of room to relax and have a drink as well as a spacious bathroom and huge bed. I’d asked for Prosecco in the room on arrival and all sorted. Very modern but cosy hotel and staff were all very helpful. It was a great base for our couple of nights in Toronto. There’s a lot of construction going on directly across the road which meant some noise early on in the morning but it wasn’t too bad.
Fantastic post-COVID lockdown getaway!
