Good Overnight location for City Centre

The only disappointment about the stay was the car parking situation which is off site and quite expensive £10 overnight, even with discount from the hotel. Also it is quite a walk from the hotel.

    Short break stay.

The hotel is nicely presented and comfortable. However, the hotel was noisy at night as it is built in a courtyard form and noise from patrons gathering outside, echoes. I had to move room, there wasnt a problem with this though. It is handily located just a few mins walk from the station and an adjoining car park is available at a charge. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

    Don’t be fooled…

This place is a dump. Not what u would expect from a Jury’s Inn. Clearly it hasn’t been cleaned since prior to the pandemic, everywhere is dirty, the hallways, stairs, the rooms, the bathroom. The place stank of mildew, there is no climate control in the rooms and the windows barely open. It was like a stinking sweat box, especially when I was forced to sleep with the window shut because of the horrendous noise and shouting from the grotty bars outside. I would NEVER stay here again.

    Poor service!

I had booked a premier king room with breakfast for work and paid extra for this but didn't receive a with any form of ventilation or fan and the breakfast i'd paid for I was turned away and wasn't allowed despite being there for 8am and given the line of it's not included in my room and if you look at my booking it states breakfast included.

    Lovely staff but noisy hotel.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean but a bit tired looking, cracked wash basin for instance. I had to change rooms due to traffic noise and train noise. Second room on courtyard side better but still noisy due to guests standing outside smoking and a hell of a racket until after 2am. The hotel needs to address this.

    Great service

Check in was a bit slow due to housekeeping being off with covid app. Lady on reception was excellent and friendly despite an unhappy costomer being a complete pain, receptionist handled her perfectly. Girl on the bar was absolutely fantastic (sorry didn't get names) this was cup final Sunday at 3.30pm so you know who you are,. Duty manager (lady) receptionist and bar server deserve a GREAT BIG THANY YOU. Room was clean, fresh and inviting, will definitely return.

    overnight stay

Chose this hotel as we had Hospital visits at RVI which is nearby. Covid 19 guidelines were followed. Everything very clean. Only the bar was open for food and drinks but it was good food and service was excellent. Room comfortable and clean. Would stay here again. Parking was a 2min walk away at cost of £7 for 24 hours
