Hotel Britannia Esbjerg staff are excellent, polite friendly helpful and attentive, spotless Hotel and surrounding area, breakfast and all food was excellent at the Hotel. Wonderful surroundings good bars and restaurants. Plenty of history to discover. Fano Island across on a short ferry trip is a lovely place to visit .

Nice hotel in the city centre

We had a spacious room in the upper floor with great city views. Very convenient in all aspects. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. We had a dinner downstairs previous night, my ribeye was not not good quality though but fish was good. Location is great as you can easily walk around the city and there are perhaps dozen parking lots behind the hotel.

As we are both elderly we like a bit of service for the room. We were told by the receptionist that they are an environmental hotel so we do not clean or hand out towels. You can ask for towels when you think you need them. These are all 4 star hotels so I am disappointed that there is such a lack of service. The hotel is very centrally located so that is a plus but we would not stay there again.

Room fine. No air conditioning or fan. At times it was too noisy to leave window open and the room was hot. Not a bath as such ( too short) but it has the shower as it’s over the ‘ bath’. Breakfast is fine albeit a bit limited in my opinion. The only elevator is a bit temperamental. Nice enough hotel, just a few alterations would make it better in my opinion.
