60th birthday celebration
The location was amazing, the staff was very helpful, the entire facility was very tidy and well kept, housekeeping was amazing. Both restaurants served great meals and the drinks were great. My only negative comment was the room they gave me had a great view of the working area and workshop on the ground floor. every morning I was woken up very early by some worker performing his Dayli duties and while enjoying my first cup of coffee on the porch i would listen to them sanding some tables or repairing some broken furniture. I am not a complainer, and we didn't spend much time in the room. So rather than make a big deal of it I focused on all the positive aspects of the trip.

Overall the property is nice but the management is not honest. We got charged some sort of cleaning fee and tax in the beginning and end of our stay. They were claiming the first one was for one room and we had two but that was not mentioned. Secondly the tour we booked for xel-ha was a horrible experience. We have 3 kids and were 15 minutes late and the bus driver left us. Even though the park was open till 6 he wanted us to be out at 5:20. In the morning he had so many people to pickup and we got to the park late. Once they take your money they won’t ever provide good customer service. We had to pay for taxi to take us back on a 2 hour drive
