This hotel is fairly new and in beautiful condition. It is located on a highway, so there is convenient access to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was fine - pretty standard things, but lots of options. The room was spacious and included a full-sized refrigerator, microwave and dish washer, as well as utensils, plates and glasses. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

I’ve now stayed at this chain in three different cities in a row — Birmingham and Montgomery, AL, and now New Jersey — and unfortunately the breakfast experience has been consistently disappointing at each location. The food often seemed either overcooked or undercooked, and many of the options felt overly processed. Since breakfast is part of the overall cost of the stay, I would hope to see some improvement in quality. That said, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and reasonably well-appointed.

It didn't smell very good on the 3rd floor, including our room. There were tears in the shade, the desk chair was filthy, and one of the legs of the desk was taped together with masking tape. While the two young men at the front desk were amazingly helpful, welcoming, and friendly, the woman on the morning we left was not. Additionally, housekeeping was not very nice. That was very disappointing.

The floor of our room was very dirty. The bottom of my socks were dirty. We asked for a bathtub and got a shower. The trash cans did not have liners. The queen sheets and covers did not fit the king bed. The hangers were broken. The breakfast was not stocked - lots of kids. The hotel did not seem to be prepared for the crowd at breakfast. The shower floor was slippery - my husband fell. No one attended the desk in the late evening.
