Mini break
Stayed at the Beresford for 3 nights. Very nice hotel with easy access to the city centre a 10 minute walk away nice clean and tidy hotel with very pleasant staff. Easy access to the trams and buses. Would definitely stay here again. Food is also very good

Nice stay
Excellent check in service, didn’t have any food in the adjoining restaurant but looked fab from what I saw. Room was dated and very basic which was fine for this trip. Staff were very pleasant and helpful!

Great location
Perfect location, staff were great! Rooms a great size but beds were like rocks though! Breakfast was lovely but a bit over priced! Would recommend and would go back!

very disappointed
Disappointed with this hotel looked extremely nice on photos and even in reception but the room was below average .. bed very uncomfortable.. bathroom very small shower block dirty with broken tiles and mildew on the walls .. wash basin sink was blocked / very slow to empty windows didn’t close properly adding to noise from ventilation system all night. On top on the squeaky floorboards on the landing from other guests .. In all this was a below average hotel at a above average price ... but the breakfast was nice

Basic, clean, hard mattresses. Not a luxury hotel
Reception day staff and night staff were very polite. Bartenders too. Accommodations were very basic but clean. Could do with more comfortable mattresses. Very hard on my back. It's in no way a luxury hotel but it was cheaper than most in the area. In hindsight, I would have paid a little extra elsewhere for more comfort. It's less than a min walk to Busaras bus station and incredibly close to Connolly station and Luas Red line, which is great.

Good location within a short walk of City Centre. Ideal for Busaras and Luas

Fair 4.0
I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels in a lot of countries, and rarely have trouble sleeping. I stayed at the Beresford for a week on a business trip. I can honestly say I did not have one night of good sleep due to noise - mostly internal, but also street noise. The creaking, bumping and shuffling in the room above me during the night sounded like it was in the same room! I’m afraid I need my sleep so could never consider staying there again.

Hotel floors
Really thin walls and creaking floors; even tiptoeing made so much noise. The floors/levels can be inconvenient. For example, there are 3 level one; the main level one, a small flight of stairs to the lower level one and a full flight of stairs to the upper level one. The lift only stops at the main level. I guess you could request to get a room on the main floors but this is something you should know about the hotel. I’d say the hotel is very dated and i’ll say the conditions are liveable.
