The staff at the hotel are so friendly and couldn’t have been anymore helpful. Breakfast was lovely! The room was quite basic, and the picture showing the front of the hotel on websites is somewhat misleading..! The view we had from our room was of a brick wall and what can be described as a dumping/storage space, with bins, tools, broken chair etc. Also, the window would not stay open - it sprung back on itself, not sure if a catch was broken? Little bit of improvisation to hold the window open with a coat hanger! And the room was unbearably hot - however, reception did provide us with a fan when requested. Overall, quite disappointed especially with the price we paid for two nights.

Honest opinion.
Location was great, near bus station, and quiet. Walking distance to major areas was good. Building was too hot, and you couldn't open the windows fully because of the pigeons!!! Breakfast was sufficient could add some more selection. Reception was great and helpful, would stay again.

Good choice in Dublin
It was a wonderful stay in every way, but the best of all was the friendly, helpful staff. I had two or three problems (not hotel-related!), and no one on the staff would rest until everything was sorted out properly. I cannot say enough good about my stay at the Beresford.

Disappointed with the room.
I saw the room pictures and thought it would be good to stay here especially at a good price for Dublin. However room 531 is a bit of a trek from reception, up a flight of stairs and then down two flights. The room felt like a dungeon. There was a window but the curtains had to be closed permanently as the window of another room was only about 6 feet away. Would I stay here again ? Yes, because of the price but I would ask for a different room if I was offered this one again.

Excellent location but loud and noisy at night
Stayed here while we attended a concert in the 3 arena. Location was excellent, right beside busaras bus station, Connolly train station and the local luas tram stop directly outside hotel which was only a 5min ride to 3 arena. Room was tidy and clean upon arrival however during the night room was very warm, had window open however was extremely noisy from environment outside. Was awoken at 4am by bin lorries on street below, awoke then several time in early morning by busy traffic buses and trains on street. Also able to heard people walking upstairs and in hallways very clearly. Although room was clean and location was excellent would not recommend staying here if looking for a good nights sleep unless possibly room situated in different area of hotel.
