Seriously disappointing
Really disappointing stay. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. It all looks like Miami circa 1982. In the meantime they could at least replace the mattresses. The bed was so useless and uncomfortable we genuinely considered sleeping on the floor. Breakfast is meh. Make sure you get there early as nothing is replaced so everything goes hard or slushy, and if you arrive from 10am the staff are almost chasing you out to clear by 10.30am. The staff are as unimpressed with being there as the guests are and it shows in their attitude. The guy who checked us in at Reception was outright rude. Location is good so that’s its saving grace.

Nice property in a good safe location. Uber cost to pier was R$20 ($4.00 US). Tours on Viator pick you up at the hotel. Clean, good breakfast, and desk staff speak English Good 3-night stay- would recommend!

Good business class hotel room was very clean, for the price a very good value. Not far from the beach lots of sports. Hotel staff were excellent. Buffet was good but not the full on Brazilian experience. Mattress was feeling its age. 20 min beach walk to Assador restaurant (Great). Nice walk to Sugarloaf Mountain. 15 minutes by Uber to Copacabana. If in Rio for business it’s a good hotel.
