Three day trip to Manhattan
The hotel is in good condition, but rather cramped; it is five stories, with no lift. The breakfast room is super compact - seats four plus a desk and chair, with a computer and printer. Service is good as is wifi. Location is fine; the shared bathroom worked ok - maybe I was lucky.

our wedding vacation
The hotel room was a small but big enough for my wife and I, the staff were friendly and helpful, bedding and towels were fresh everyday, tea coffee cakes and snacks were complementary, ice and cold drinks on tap, in a upmarket area, great price, no problems would recommend for short vacation.

Three nights in downtown Manhattan
The hotel was well located for my purpose; it was clean and well maintained but the rooms were quite cramped and there was no lift for a five storey hotel. Wifi was good and the staff were generally very helpful. Breakfast room was tiny, but had a computer and printer for guest use. The shared bathroom was an inconvenience, but fortunately didn't present a problem. Overall mixed - I might use it again, but would compare with options.

Worth every penny.
The front of house staff were always welcoming with a smile on their face, we arrived after travelling for 12 hours, were told if we needed any help with baggage as we were on the 5th floor they would do so. We didnt need the help but it was a lovely gesture. I also loved the little room by reception that always had lemonade/coffee/snacks for us to pick at as we choose. The room was snug but clean and tidy, looked exactly like the pictures show on the website. Overall we left super happy. Great location and we would definitely come here in the future if we are to visit NYC again.

Very good 8.0
Great location, modern & minimalist rooms
Great spot for the subway and on foot to explore New York. The room we had specifically was on the ground floor which was noisy with people in reception and thin walls (literally could hear people's conversation in the lobby sat on the toilet) and the speakeasy bar next door (with smoking area outside our window) and starting to feel claustrophobic on day 5. Wish we had asked to change rooms would have improved our stay massively I think. Clean and safe generally though.

Don't judge a book by it's cover
(but do trust the reviews) The photos of this place make it look really nice, but it doesn't tell the whole story. I'd put this in the range of high-end hostel, and for the price, I cringe at that. The bedrooms do look recently renovated, but the building is not in the best of shape. I'm also 100% positive I selected the private bathroom option when I selected my room, but that's definitely not what I got, nor what my booking confirmation says. I'm not all that picky about my accommodations, but I will not be staying here again. It gets the job done if you're desperate, and is a good location, but I've realized I do have a higher bar than I may have thought

Elevator not available, had to walk my luggage up to 5th floor because their service took too long. Bathroom was shared bathroom with other room with access via hallway. Neither was made clear to me upon booking.

Apartment for the week.
Perfect spot to stay for a week long work trip. Only thing being on the lower floor, there was a lot of street noise from construction.
