Our stay was comfortable with a nice large room. No frills but adequate and nice and clean. The shower was good. The stay was restful and relaxing.

Have stayed at this hotel many times. Service & room OK. When checking out I was informed that as I had not pre-booked parking via the hotels web site no discount was available for parking. I booked using the Hotels.com website that specifies discounted parking is available and makes no mention of pre booking. Parking (about 1/2 km away) is expensive (twice the price of Rouen, a comparable French city when staying at an central Ibis hotel 3 days earlier). Its not the £8.90 price difference that is important, it is the disorganised penny pinching approach! Alas, after using this hotel many times the time has come to move on....

Great find in York
The hotel was easy to find , plenty of parking nearby. Liked where it was situated was immaculately clean with a lovely big walk in shower shower and fabulous breakfast. Staff on reception friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again when in york.
