Staff were lovely and we had a long chat with Maisey the bar manager. It is in a perfect location and is set round a very pleasant courtyard, however, as with most older hotels it could do with some TLC in places. Also the bar is closed on Sundays and the occasional wedding can disrupt the normal services offered by the hotel. Breakfast was the only disappointment. I would stay here again.
Brilliant, huge bed in a large room with a veranda to watch the world go by. We only stayed for one night but would have appreciated a fridge to keep our food cool. I think they could provide more coffee and some milk. Good for walking into the downtown historic area where there are plenty of eateries. Quaint courtyard.
Basic but clean accommodation. Excellent staff, Simple breakfast. WiFi didn’t reach the room.
Set in a lovely quiet area, olde world charm lovely courtyard garden area, within walking distance to local bars shops etc
The room wa clean but there was an overwhelming smell of bleach which was very unpleasant. While having a shower, the bath started filling with water very quickly, so I had to cut it short. And water spilled onto the floor which I had to wipe up. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, so I didn’t use them. Can’t comment on the breakfast as I had to leave early. I wouldn’t want to stay here again.
This really is a beautiful property. Our room was so lovely, spotless and very comfortable.
Great stuff!
This property had so much history and character - it is old so there are many layers of paint, but it didn’t hamper the functionality. The bed was comfortable. Coffee on the balcony was a great way to start the morning. We would definitely stay here again.
This old hotel has so much culture, we stayed in one with a balcony on the 2nd floor. It was great to set outside and listen to the birds, enjoy the sunshine and quiet.
Very old but well maintained inn in the Mobile Historic District. The hotel and neighborhood had the feel of the French Quarter. The stafgf was very friendly and helpful. Its right next to the convention center and cruise ship port.We will definitely be back.
