Great hotel but rushed service
When eating / drinking in the restaurant the staff want to clear your plates moments after you get the last piece of food on the fork... Lovely modern hotel but some items in the room didn't work.

6/10 Good

Mildly disappointing stay
My family and I stayed at The Corner London City for our first post pandemic summer vacation. The stay was fine but there were a few somewhat frustrating issues. 1. There is not always a dedicated staff member at front of the hotel (check in and checkout is done via screen) so if you have a need or question, you will need to talk to the bartender who is busy being a bartender. 2. We stayed in the deluxe king room as a family of 3. We thought deluxe would include couch b/c we indicated the age of our child, but it is only a king bed. The cot can be purchased for $25 a night - not a lot, but not trivial if your vacation is over a week. 3. There are automated coffee machines on all of the floors. Ours worked once. The remainder of our stay we would walk up or down the stairs hoping that floor's would work. There is one on the ground floor that was the most reliable.

Won’t return & do not recommend
Not the best hotel I’ve stayed in. The decor of the reception & restaurant was lovely and looked promising for the rooms. However, the rooms have NO windows and the lighting is next to nothing. Very dark and dingy in there. The bathroom was old fashioned and on the first morning the hot water stopped working throughout the whole hotel which meant we had to have a cold shower as we couldn’t wait for it to be fixed due to having plans! Wouldn’t have said it was the cleanest either. There were marks that looked like previous mould or damp on the bed. There was definitely potential for it to have a deeper clean. Also, the decor of the room is very bizarre. Unlikely to return & wouldn’t recommend which is unfortunate as the staff were very friendly & chatty!
Old mould or damp? Not sure

2/10 Poor

Poor experience. Bar staff didn’t wanna know, on arrival noticed kitchen was open till 11pm so we had banked on getting food after our long journey; chef just said kitchen is closed (9pm we checked in) staff generally couldn’t be bothered, said coffee machine on every floor, when we got down to our room, no coffee machine on our floor. Room was nice, and clean but really let down by the staff and facilities, hardly worth spending the money here. Really disappointed with me experience.
